Cannondale CAAD 13 the super aluminum bike
all hail aero rim brake bike
If it was my bike I would have sanded that name off the downtube before I built it up. The China cycling market has the dumbest names.
Very nice setup, thank you for sharing!
Good looking bike! What rim brakes are you using? I've never seen those before.
Those are the Bontrager Speed Stop. Very light dual pivot rim brakes that can take up to 32 width tires if your frame can handle it.
Yaasss super Nice ❤
06:10, left side with the red helmet, that's me! Good ride, much better than last year :)
Which App/Program do you use for the display in this video (Watt/Speed) etc.? Looks really good
@@19jules91 Thanks for the feedback. I use an old free outdated software called Dashware for those metrics.
This was good review mang 😎👏🏽
Great bikes. Great, great set up.
How is the charging? That has me on the fence on di2.
@@mikekane9213 You can see the Durace di2 battery 🔋 level on the computer unit plus it will warn you once it is low. The 105 di2 being a budget option you will have to check the battery 🪫 status in the app. They both last a long time charging every month for the 105 di2 and about 2 months for the Durace di2.
@@bigunitcyling thanks mate
Your yard looks like my yard lol. Outdoor kids! Good for you! Keep them active.
focus bro
Mines just as good 😝
Damn, this makes me miss my Caad12.....
what are your thoughts on the CAAD12 vs the CAAD13? I heard people say the older versions feel more exciting vs the newer dull feeling
That’s a good question. I haven’t ridden the CAAD 13 as much but dull is not how I would describe the ride sensation. I’ll do a video on this.
@@bigunitcyling thx, looking forward to it!
damn bro you got 2 of the baddest bikes on the block
beautiful
I have a Team Edition Caad9...time to catch up!!
beautiful machines
Nice! I did the same to my Madone 9. I put the Ultegra di2 on it but still hav not decided on wheels yet.
Nice bikes! 😃
thx bro
Ive got the same bike. Looking to upgrade the stem to something more aero that is parallel to the top tube. What do you have on there. Also i like the computer mount
I am upgrading the bike again. I am currently using Zipp Sprint stem with Zipp sprint computer mount. Zipp Aero handlebars. Having trouble with the wheels right now.
That’s a cool bike.
I have this same bike, even the color scheme. Been trying to figure out some good upgrades for it. It's still stock 105 other than the saddle and wheels that I swapped out. I like that blue bar tape. Matches the bike's blue accents nicely. Cheers.
real good weight
Has drain holes?
It does have a drain hole; however, it is difficult to get water in the wheels unless you submerge it under water.
@@bigunitcyling when is raining always go inside on me actual wheels.
How do you like the bar tape? 4.6mm Lizard Skin?
I fit my trusty GP 4 seasons (finally) for the winter and early spring commutes, and I’ve found they have a hole in them, so I’m looking for a new set of cold weather tyres. How are you finding these for wet and cold weather so far?
Добрый день! Как показали себя эти шины?
Hey brother I have a 2017 CAAD 12 rim brake size 63. It’s a 105 but would love to do some mods to it. Let me know if you have any recommendations. I plan to keep the bike so it will be an investment.
hoonestly, 8kl is not light for CAAD12
how long is your stem ?
The stem is 130 mm long.
Hey when will you review a mountain bike
😁😁
Man looks great with that saddle height, wish i was tall.😂 Careful with those powerful brakes in a panic braking situation, a lot of broken teeth out there.😅
i didnt have any problems with disk brakes, they are really good.
Nice! I own the Caad 12 and i love it! Your upgrades are awesome! Enjoy
Thanks for Uploading. I started from Block B. Yes, it was a great race and a beautiful route!
Thanks 🙏 for watching and much appreciated.
sick! youtube is so bad at showing relevant videos when i search CAAD 12, glad i chanced upon your 13 and happened to check your profile out. I was really curious on how 12spd would be built onto CAAD 12, as im looking to do the same. Great video!
I am about to drop the CAAD 12 update for you.
I don't think there are many CAAD12-related videos lately.
👍🏾👍🏾
What model is this zipp table?
Beautiful and lightweight bike! What are the brake calipers and tyres (and width)? Greetings from Sweden
Those are Bontrager brake calipers and the tires in the video are 25 mm Continental Competition. I am currently running Pirelli Speed Core tubeless right now 26 front and 28 rear.
@@bigunitcyling Thanks! 👍
careful with that stand - it should only be used for the rear wheel. When on the front wheel like that, if something pressed on the bike, the handlebars can turn and the bike will fall over.
Thanks for the tip. Good to know.
I'm sure it is comfortable, but I think it would be too squishy in my TCR.. I'm thunk the 2.8 or thinner..
Jesus christ 7.1 kg for an aluminium bike? That’s crazy
Imagine if it were a size 56 instead of a 60.
Nice video! Can you tell me more about your setup? What cameras are you using and what kind of software are you using to sync your sensor data?
RESPEKT !!! 👍👍💪💪
Super Video, vielen Dank fürs hochladen 😊
rim brakes? the weight is incredible
It is the last of a dying breed.
