Also, you claim that Job had an issue with pride. Are judging Job based on the words of Elihu? That sounds like an argument Job's 3 friends might make. And can you tell us where God Himself says anything like this? Actually, in chapters 1 & 2 God tells us precisely about Job and his character. Are you contradicting what God said about Job? Do not be deceived by Elihu. Read the book again. He is not motivated to help Job in any way. He is an accuser and persecutor of Job.

You claim there is "no judgment" of Elihu because he is not rebuked like Job's 3 friends. However, neither is Elihu praised either. So using this point as a defense of and support for Elihu is a weak argument.

Job is a hard book. It's scary to know that God can let you be tested so hard. It's comforting to know He will be with you through suffering, but it's hard to think about suffering that much.
