I'm going to purchase a 1100c in the next week or so but can not decide to get the camo or the orange to match my Kabota tractor. But after seeing your 1100c I like how it doesn't stand out and not being so obvious in the woods.
@tomrunning357 it doesn't stand out and it also doesn't show scratches! The orange will show the scratches from branches and stuff in the woods! That's why we went camo! Thanks for watching!😎
@UpInTheNorthwoods really good information Thank You
Looking forward to a video on how your boiler setup works.
@@miatch085 what do you all want to see of it! We are looking for some input on what everyone wants to see! Thanks for watching!
Just how the system is plumbed to your house or whatever building you heat. Space heating as well as your potable water. It must have a heat loop for the boiler and some radiator or heat exchangers? Do you have electric or a gas backup? Stuff like that.
Oh also, waste heat? What if there's excess heat how is it wasted or is that necessary in a residential system?
@@miatch085 we will be doing a video about it more in detail! Thanks you!
Awesome video. Great score on the pallets. New subscriber from Virginia
@Robbinsoutdoors Great score and great deal on them! Welcome to the channel and thank you for coming alone with us on the journey!😎
Lucky. We've had maybe a total of 4 in southern Wisconsin. It all disappeared a day or two after Christmas. I want my cold weather, and I want my snow - this 40 plus degree crap makes me sad. Anyways, Happy New Year's to you guys.
They predicted 5 to 10 inches but we got maybe 2 inches! And then that was gone right away. We currently have no snow on the ground! When it's winter we need atlest below freezing! Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!😎
Great haul. Happy New Year.
Happy New Year to you too! Thanks for watching!
I have a boiler also. I keep it on top of myself
@tinymaggetsfwmike5085 boilers are the best! To burn up the scrap wood and cut offs! Where else would you go with that stuff without a wood boiler? Happy New Year!😎
Yep more snow, nice load of skids
@@Lens-KeepingBusy sure is! Thanks for watching!😎
Ur not too much farther than my hunting land it little suamico nice finding more and more local people even some a couple miles from me down in the valley
@travisarndt2330 it's crazy how it reaches people near by and far away! Little suamico is a nice area to have some hunting land! Thanks for watching! 😎
Enjoyed your video this morning! New subscriber from Kentucky!! Happy New Year!

@@cisco5400 thank you! Thanks for watching!😎
I was hoping to see how you made the bins.
That's coming in the near future! Thanks for watching!😎😎
I have a boiler as well and if it's wood, I burn it! Nice find with the pallets! Thanks!
Exactly! We have a lot of cut offs to burn. Thanks for watching, and Happy New Year!😎
Nice score on the pallets. I've driven through your nearby town when I used to work in Oshkosh. New subscriber. Happy New Year from Mark at the Cay! 🇺🇸🇨🇦🪵🎉🔥
That's awesome! Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!😎
Nice video - keep them coming , great content Thanks from S.E. Wisconsin
Thank you for watching! Happy New Year!😎
Very Beautiful. Happy New Year
Happy New Year to you, too! Thanks for watching!😎
Very nice video
Thank you! Thanks for watching!😎
I enjoy your setup. I’m a little further up 141 near Niagara and don’t have as much land as you do. Looks really nice there.
It is definitely really nice! We love it where we are! Thanks for watching!😎
I enjoyed your video and subscribed. Watching from Texas. Appreciate the share and your thoughts and experience. Be safe, strong, healthy and successful. Blessings and prayers to you and family ☝ 🙏 🙌. Have a very Happy New Year and a great 2025.
Thanks for joining us! Happy new year! 😎😎
Looks like a lot of wasted time
That is a LOT of wood there! Plenty enough to have some fun! - Joe from Québec, Canada.
@@FromSteelToWood lot of wood to cut! Thanks for watching!
NIce setup! Nothing can't beat being outdoor splitting firewood! Thanks!
If your not outdoors it's not fun! Thanks for watching!😎
Nice logging trailer! I am impressed at how it remains stable while unloading the last and biggest log at 17:10. Now I understand the benefits of having a moving axle. I have similar setup myself with a Canam Defender HD10 and a Farma crane fitted on a small local-made trailer. I like the capacity of the Farma crane (3.8). But not impressed by the trailer. I like the Anderson trailer better! The working method you use at 22:00, pulling the tree parallel to the logging trailer makes the whole thing much easier! BTW you are both very good operators! Thanks!
@FromSteelToWood thank you! We like the Anderson because it is very sturdy. The moving axles help the Kubota a lot on hills and everything because that's a lot of weight. Thanks for watching!😎
Keep disturbance to a minimum next to the river. Runoff will silt it in and destroy the trout habitat in that section. In my piece of the northwoods the recommendation is to stay back at least 50 feet from streams and wetlands. Looks like your're doing it right.
@billbergquist4722 we like to leave the river alone! We don't drive through it at all either! Thanks for watching!😎
For the same amount of money that the chain saws, M90 trailer, ATF costs I could heat my home for 15 years using heating oil. There sure is a lot of money being spent on equipment to cut firewood.
@samgentile7494 we don't just use our equipment for personal, we use it for business use also! Thanks for watching! 😎
Whats the name of your trout stream? Really enjoyed the video. Thanks!
@andybrzezin it is the eagle creek! Thanks for watching!
@UpInTheNorthwoods very cool trailer. Pretty impressive what it can do! Are the logs you carried 8 ft?
@andybrzezin 100 inch, so just over 8 ft!
Howdy from the South woods of Raymond, WI!
Welcome! Thanks for watching!😎
Very nice 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for watching!😎
Nice set up you have there! Stay safe cutting them dead ash.
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Привет из Сибири! Отличный подъёмник! Какая грузоподьемность у него?
It can carry about 5 to 6k lbs
Круто!
You should use some of the dead ash to buld a bridge across the river so you don't have to access through a neighbord land
We have thought about it! But the DNR would see it because they fly the river! Thanks for watching!
14:30, you’ve got it!
👍😎
At 6:00, I’d load splits into a tractor bucket (if you have one) and dump directly into your bin. Skip moving from trailer to bin by hand.
We have a skid steer but my dad was using it at the time and I was trying to keep moving while he was busy! Thanks for watching!
At 3:52, split the first round, keep the two halves together, rotate and keep splitting until you have the size you need. Move to woodpile as a unit. Saves a lot of moves over time.
We usually do. Just sometime you don't even think about it🤣😎
Wow that's a really nice trailer set up. I too have a wood boiler for the last 20 plus years. I could use one of these log trailers. I'm in Michigan and just subscribed.
@BigelowWoodcraft we love the log trailer, it keeps the wood clean! If you can get the wood a wood boiler is worth it! Wood heat is just different! Thanks for watching!😎
Looks addictive - Great setup

Slow your hydraulics down. A smaller orfice is needed. Bending some arms will happen if you do t!
@mr.lynnrosaasen8218 The reason it bounce a couple times is because the down riggers moved on the snow, so we had to lower them a little more! We try not to have it bounce.
Just found your channel and subscribed . Sorry to hear about your Ash trees . Keep you and son busy clean up the dead one on the property. Take care great video.

saw that ash into lumber not firewood!!! .......and replant something!! What's killing your trees???
The Emerald Ash Bore. Going through all around us in Wisconsin, unfortunately. Thanks for watching! 😎
@UpInTheNorthwoods I watched Dutch Elm Disease go thru and kill 300 year old elm trees. really sad, and nothing a guy can do!
@@brentchalmers1436 we luckily didn't have many Elm here!
Lmao. Watching you run it was kinda painful. You're not smooth on the controls, lol. It's very hard on everything if you shock to load everything. Very nice setup. I used one for lumber. Ran with a tractor and set up like yours except could run controls from in the cab. Wireless, but the seat spun and had a mount for controls. Loved it. Then, I went back to cut tops for firewood. I'm an arborist by trade.39 years. My body is worn out. OK, TMI. Lol. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
The lever controls are very touchy! When the machine is cold it is even more touchy! Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas!😎
@UpInTheNorthwoods thank you for not taking it seriously. I do understand that and cold oil it crazy and not used enough to warm it up. Cheers
