The Difference Between the M2A1 and M2A2 "50 cal" Ammo Cans
Переглядів 32 тис.2 роки тому
Whats the difference between M2A1 50 cal ammo casn and the New M2A2? The New M2A2 ammo container adds a metal support bracket on the latch assembly to prevent the seal in the lid from getting crushed when full ammo cans are stacked on top of each other. The M2A1 ammo cans do not have this bracket which forces the rubber seal in the lid of the ammo can to support any weight on top of the can lea...

Shipping is almost the same price as an ammo can
Umm A - M? Do you mean A-L??
Not sure I want the cardboard in there for long term storage. Anyone else agree with this?
I have literally just thrown away so many of these stripper clips as all my ammo comes in the form of clips in the first place.
Supposedly, there’s a “tall” version of these, which seems likely for holding 4 - 6 100 amp-hour lithium-iron phosphate cells.
Symbolism, not symbology🙄
Lol no, that’s not what symbolism is.
...these guys have great stuff!!!
Bought a buttload of Stripper Clips from you all. I keep all of my 5.56 and .300 BO on Strippers. Even store my Ammo on the clips. Thank you CAC for your products and these videos.
But what does S.C.F. stand for?
Standard Container Company
Is there enough room to throw in a desiccant pack in there also?
If you use the desiccant pack that Clean Ammo Can sells you can fit one of them along with a stripper clip guide.
I use these guys. Great source for long term storage of anything. Thanks guys.
These things arrrrr really pissssssin me off
I’ve bought 3 grade 1 ammo cans from this company and I’m not disappointed, however 2/3 had some surface rust that would make me consider them closer to grade 2 or 3
...I've bought from you guys in the past...excellent stuff and service, thanx!!!
20.00$ a can for new is too much.
No its not, their other places selling brand new for more money. I am not talking about the ones at retail stores.
I can’t believe this was as easy as it was. I mean no chance I ever would’ve done it without this. But, 2nd try and done.
The last used ammo can I bought must’ve been used as a toilet Buy clean ones
Thanks for the info, will be great to share when asked!
Hey on my can it doesn't have a letter on the lc
You need to make them from spring steel. I've been making my own clips for years with a home made forge, it's not rocket science, spend an afternoon learning how to blacksmith and you'll probably have the skills to make them.
صندوق الذخيرة يحفض الذخيرة بشكل جيد
what does ( GWH ) mean on a side opening 50cal can with the ordnance ball under it
I just received my 762 NATO kit and it's awesome. do you happen to sell the clips and spoons separately or just I. kits with the bandolier and cardboard?
Annealing will help with bending the tabs, just like Annealing helps with resizing cases and retaining integrity of the brass
Have you ever heard of a 220 cal? I have an ammo box with that on it says repacked pod 12-63
You ever hear of 220 cal by chance? My ammo box seems to be one of a kind
Just to clarify: the cans are named for the size of round it can fit in belts stacked into it to feed into a machine gun. 50 cal cans are wide enough for 50BMG belted and 30 cal cans fit belted 30-06 or 7.62x51.
Does not fit getting the fith one in. It was too short. I can only get six to fit
Bought my first bandoleer from you guys last week. Filled it with ammo today... $600 more dollar and I can fill a can...🤪
I have bought beaucoup re-pack kits from y'all for the M-1A. And will be getting more. Was loading from the top with guide. The method you showed for the 10 round clip AR looks better. Guess I should try it. Been awhile since BCT and if I remember correctly we were loading from the top with M16-A1 20 round mags . Thanks.
It would be great also to show how to pack those 6 pocket 7.62/.308 bandoliers in ammo cans.
Sick!
I just got my 4 new 50 cal ammo cans i am seriously impressed. Thanks! Ordering more soon
That's great! I just don't have the grand for the can!
Do you have a video on how to pack the 7.62X51mm? I bought a lot of those from you guys. I love them but would like to know the right way to pack them.
Could of done without the long Into music
I just ordered some striper clips and mag loader from your store few days ago. Can't wait to get them and try them
Good to know....thank you for this explanation.
Bought 10 pck of spoons and a case of MREs and 4pck bandolier...from you guys not to long ago...awesome products and company...
Fantastic presentation. You said what you meant and meant what you said. Not a wasted word. JKL LV
I've got a 30 cal can that has "GMK" stamped where the manufacturer code should be. The can has been painted so I can't see the stenciiling for more information. Can anyone point me to where I can find out how old it is? I've looked all over the internet and can't find anything.
This brings back memories. It really wears out your thumbs; I like your method better. Now show how much fun it is to break the seal and get into a crate. Waiting until the bullets are flying is not a good idea.
Great vid! Now do one showing how to figure out which bando strap to pull first. :D
I have a ton of stripper clips and spoons. I never throw anything like that away and just toss them into a spare ammo can.
Any recommendations on storing 9mm
I use 30 cal. For pistol, lots Easter to lift and carry. Store my rifle ammo in 50 cal.
Yeah, use above ammo cans!!!🙄🤡
Any recommendations on storing 9mm
Stack that stuff deep in 50 cal cans with some silica gel in each can and keep it in a cool dry controlled environment and it’ll long outlast your lifetime.
I would recommend dumping all your FMJ into cans designated by the grain and throw some Silica Gel packets in like previously stated. My reasoning for taking it out of the box is that you can fit more per can loose and also, cardbaoard has the potential to hold moisture. However, the potential to hold onto moisture isn't much of an issue if stored right. Just however you want really.
Pretty interesting and I have always wondered how they fit them all in there.
no one needs a 35 sec intro
how many full A1 cans can be stacked before the bottom can seal starts to get damaged?
As he says in the video. Zero, unless they’re in a crate.
@@Jason-iz6obbut really though? there has to be some answers out there for this question.
So, generally speaking, what is the percentage of savings when purchasing a grade three can versus a grade one can?
With our current sale on our Grade 2 and 3 ammo cans you can save up to 32% in comparison to Grade 1 ammo cans.
