It's wired differently. I have it as 1[neck] 2[neck + bridge] 3[bridge] 4[middle + bridge out of phase] 5 [middle]. I never use the 5 position unless if I'm double-tracking clean sounds.

Holy fuck. It’s like math rock but actually really good and thoughtfully rhythmic. Sorry for the math rock reference, I just couldn’t summon my father to make a decent Led Zeppelin critique.
Best analogy I came up with math rock and a lot of post-hardcore bands is that they're good painters, they just don't know when to stop painting.
