I hope it to all People’s in World, there can see that, thank you
And the orville of today dear?
You need to do more of these and edit them together. Have a great time bro!
Still very grateful for this opportunity! I hope that I was able to make some fans happy with some Manifest items ❤️ I'm also from the Netherlands, not New Zealand haha! Far away anyways hahaha! Absolutely still so excited to have been a part of this!
We were thrilled with your lovely contributions! Thank you again!
Superb!! :D
I'm wondering what the original plan was. Seemed kind of weird how they just swapped the major with Angelina as the villain, especially since the major was so much better. Like I got John Kreese and Terry Silver vibes from the major. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her cook. Angelina, not so much. I just felt bad for the poor girl then just wanted her to get swapped for Autumn during the first few episodes of s4. Instead of Autumn just randomly reappearing towards the end. So much wasted potential, really. This show was mediocre, all things considered. I've seen better (Cobra Kai) but I've seen worse (13 Reasons Why). You know it had a lot to be desired when you're more fascinated with Angelina over everyone else (save for maybe Zeke). Couldn't relate to anyone else, the mystery box stuff was pretty easy to guess, and Angelina should have become a chick version of Negan from The Walking Dead after getting that sapphire instead of what we saw. Or should have turned around and went to bat for the passengers towards the end which is what I would have done. I kind of understand what they were going with this show, decent concept, but F me SENSELESS did it become meh after they got rid of the major. For anyone who is interested, I'm working on a MASSIVE video essay on Angelina on my channel as well as a full rewrite of her character arc. Very similar to "Analyzing Evil" by The Vile Eye, if anyone has heard of that channel/show.
Angelina was terrible, just saying. Given the circumstances of everything I think they did a good job of getting the show back to the original concept. Remember Jeff Rake stated that we needed to remember Romans 8:28 in how we examined the show. Was it reality or purgatory or was it something else, I think we will never truly know. At least the ending was better than LOST! :)
@@theweekendgeeks Like I said, I'm the type who enjoys watching villains cook and I'm not gonna lie, a show/movie/book is only as good as its villains are because usually they are the ones you have the most emotional investment in. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all these characters respond to the major. When Angelina emerged as the villain, I was begging for the major to come back at some point and reveal that she hired Angelina to infiltrate the Stones so she could get Eden or something like that. Cuz that IS something the major would do. Terry Silver has been the only reason I've watched Cobra Kai for awhile now. And Bodhi from Point Break is a work of genius. Freeza was the ONLY reason I watched Dragon Ball for awhile. And again, I'll bring up Negan from The Walking Dead: There's a reason why I have almost his entire opening monologue memorized. And it was that way with the major in Manifest. NOT with Angelina Meyer. Never was like that with Angelina. I didn't see her as a threat, like I did with the major. NOW! If Angelina was an underling of the major, like if it was like Autumn where she was working with the major or if the major was doing the same with Angelina like she did with Saanvi, being her therapist and stuff? If she WASN'T so troubled and mentally ill and wound up even using the major to get what she wanted? NOW we're getting somewhere. But we didn't get anything like that and it sucked. Said this in the subreddit for this show and I'm saying it here: The major was the glue that held this show together. Either way you'll enjoy the video essay about this that I'm gonna put on my channel and you might even enjoy my retelling. This show has sparked my creativity and that's a good thing.
What fun! Thank you fellow panelists and Jeff Rake for the incredible exclusive Q & A vids!
Thanks for having us join you this year.
Many thanks! Panel was a ton of fun!! 😀
Damn lucky dude. Wish I saw this earlier. I'm waiting another two hours to watch at home now.
