There are too many factors in a restoration process to be able to give an exact amount. You can easily spend $10k and still not do a complete restoration.

They actually do very well in my zone. They produce the typical heavy summer load and seems to extend from spring to fall as well, occasionally I find some edible fruit over the winter period although not as sweet. I tend to control the vigorous summer Vegetive growth as they can quickly overtake any space, this also opens up more flower branches.

Thanks for the compliment! It was imported into California but unfortunately…or fortunately for the new owner, has been sold. These are trucks are iconic and I hope to be able to restore another one soon.

It had some minor issues but for the abuse these trucks typically go through and the elements…this one was clean.

There are some companies in China that sell new body parts and you may be able to put together a complete vehicle. Or find one used in your area. 👍

Not really sure, it was a custom mix, hence the name "baby blue". It looks quite nice in the sun and never a thumbs down on the color.

Nice! These trucks are iconic for sure and deserve al the love they can get. It is currently in the sale process and I'm sure the new owner will be super happy! A lot of time and effort went into this one and I hope to do another one soon.

This Hilux was imported from Central America and is the standard left hand drive.

I have mixed feelings on the rear bathroom. does give you more space up front but I always found it strange to open the back doors and look and a toilet...

Theses trucks currently run $12-15k on the low end with out the restorations and that can easily double depending on what it needed and the level one wants to go. There are no "cheap" Hilux's, the toughness and reliability are baked into the prices. Shipping costs depend on your destination. This truck recently sold very close to my asking price, I had some "offers" come in from buyers that obviously do not understand what it takes to bring a Hilux to this level into the States.
