This channel is geared towards those who want to modify their electric vehicles (EV's) to improve its looks or range. While it will be based around my Ford Focus Electric, the modifications can be adapted to other EV's.
Overvolted MX350 Finished
This is the final installment of the Overvolted Razor MX350. My son is quite pleased with the speed and power of the motorcycle. In the video I did say scooter, but I meant motorcycle. I couldn't figure out how to put a quick correction with the video editing software I am using. I hope you enjoy watching these videos as much as I enjoy making them. I got the motorcycle back together and operating. I think the BMS from the Ryobi battery can't handle the amperage draw from the motor so I have a different battery on order. I'm just waiting until it comes in and I will install it and see how it works out.

Trying to drain the HV battery

In this video I try to drain the HV battery underneath the car. Spoiler alert! I was unable to find the drain plug like I saw in another video I saw. Maybe Ford changed something between my model year and the model year of the video I saw. I hope that this video helps someone else in their quest to diagnose or confirm the same or similar issue.

In this video I remove the storage under the trunk to make room for the 300ah battery that I will be installing to turn Claire into a mobile, solar powered, off grid, power station and charger. Easy Weight Reduction

This is a very short video. In it I talk about how removing the headrests from your car will give you a very slight weight reduction. In this video I remove the rear bumper cover brackets on the right hand side of the car. One broke in a rear end accident I was involved in over the summer, and the other was damaged when my tire tread came off and destroyed the bumper cover. I hope you enjoy this video. This video continues on the bumper project. I will be installing the park aid sensors back into the painted bumper. If I could have done this again, I would have used a grease pen, or spray paint with the old bumper cover inside the new one to mark the holes better. why did the lithium fail?
I think it has something to do with the sensor Ford put on the negative post. From what I read it only lets the battery charge to a certain percentage. It might also be that the charging profile in the car is designed for lead acid and not lithium. When I took the lithium battery out and put it on a lithium charger it charged up just fine.

Yeah, it fixed it for quite a long time. It will occasionally stop working again, but then I do the little trick and it will start working again. Must be a clearance issue or something. I thought about taking the cover off and shaving a little plastic off around the hole, but I just haven't gotten around to it.
Hi Nice video. Just a quick one I am replacing my front bumper with sensors and I want to ask if aftermarket bumpers have pre-cut mount holes or would I need to use your method of tracing the sensors from my previous bumper to get better results during the install
I'm not sure. If your model of vehicle has the option but isn't standard on all I would think aftermarket ones wouldn't have them already, but might have some kind of marker on the inside to show where they might go. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

There seem to be several iterations Ford put out on the front bumpers. I would imagine it would be a matter of finding the one you like and finding one. I use car-part.com for a lot of parts.
