MY NEW HORSE!
Переглядів 1,1 тис.8 років тому
Long time no see! Please read the whole description before you ask any questions :) And yes, I am going to be much more active from here on out haha So first of all, yes, we sold Rosie. However, we sold her to my barn so she is a much loved lesson horse and I still get to see her and work with her nearly every day! She is treated like the princess that she is, and is loving her retirement job :...

I GOT A HORSE!
Переглядів 178 тис.11 років тому
PLEASE READ! Her name is Rosina, or Rosie. She just turned 14 on May 14th, she is 16.3hh, and she is a Canadian Warmblood! Originally my barn brought her in to try her out to be a lesson horse, but her training would got to waste, and she wasn't being ridden enough. So my parents bought her when they heard that she was for sale and was going to go back home :) My parents told me we were going t...

Yep! So 34 items total - and only 5 of them weren't in the package deal. I was so tired today - swimming, shopping and then horse grooming! And yesterday we had about 25 people over for my cousin's bridal shower. Yeah... All of it is for my pony, Rosie! *I do not own the music in this video!*

    Canola/veg oils are not good. You should use olive or coconut oil. I wouldnt put sugar in it either. Honey would is the better option. Use oat flour, not reg flour. Their health is important.

    Why not molasses instead of honey and mix in some shredded carrot?

    I love barn vlogs! I live in Australia so it’s so fun to see how horsie people do things on the other side of the world... it’s super hot here now too so I’m loving the snow

      For once I like the snow too! We’ve had a few days of above zero weather, but it’s supposed to dip down again next week so I’m sure I’ll change my mind lol

      I would stick to banana, but if anything you could throw in apple or pear and some extra water and honey :)

    Why did you give the horses 🐴 big name

    • @JDDressage
      @JDDressage 7 років тому

      most real horses have a longer name that is used for shows or if they're registered, and then a shorter name/a nickname so I based it off of that :)

    I recently became aware of Montana O and saw her last heartwarming vlog where she chose your horse Rosie to retire at her barn. I’m so happy for you, couldn’t think of a more wonderful place to retire your horse. She mentioned you on Instagram so I thought I would look you up and subscribe. Your last post I believe was a year ago, do you still vlog? Thanks!

      Hi! Thank you, I'm super excited for Miss Rosie as well :) and although I'm not currently uploading, I do plan to do so in the near future and actually have a couple of videos filmed already!

      horseluver478 oh thanks for getting back. I hope you saw Montana’s latest video with you and Rosie and her adoption story, it truly was heartwarming.. Everyone loved it! Can you believe out of all of the riders who wanted their horses to end up at that beautiful barn you were chosen? So happy for you guys! If you have time I would love to hear a little about Rosie’s background and what you guys did together, how long she was a school horse etc. Did you mainly do dressage with her? I saw one of your shows with her maybe two and you guys looked great together. I know I asked a lot of questions but for some reason your horse tugged on my heartstrings. I’m so looking forward to your future videos. Thanks!

      Well my parents bought her for me in 2013, and she had done jumpers and was a broodmare before that. She taught me pretty much everything! We never really did dressage, because I never managed to get her round at the canter haha, but we did do a lot of equitation classes and little shows held at the barn. She was a lesson horse for about a year and a half before she was retired :)

    • @JDDressage
      @JDDressage 8 років тому

      I kept mine in a sealed container for two weeks before they were used up :) after that, they get a little hard. And I'd recommend the banana, because it helps hold things together
