What are the barcodes on the fire alarms for? Also, what is the name of the company whose logo is on the barcode? One of my fire alarms in my collection has that exact barcode with logo and so do all of the fire alarms in my school. Please let me know. Thanks!

When you scan the barcode on the fire alarm, is that meant to record that the device has been tested and works? Also, what company logo is that on the barcode? One of my fire alarms has that same barcode with the same logo and every fire alarm in all the schools in my district also have that exact same barcode with that exact same logo. I tried searching it but couldn’t find any company that owns that logo. One more question. What app do you use for scanning the barcodes?

Hopefully this wasn’t an annual fire alarm test and inspection. Code requires smoke to activate the sensor. You can only use a magnet just to do a functional test but not part of an annual. You bypass the smoke chamber and smoke sensors with the magnet

The same coding that Older DSC Panels do when a Fire Zone is tripped, They need to set the Panel to Code 3 and set the Advances and Classics to Coded because of the SHG's

The classics should be reclassified as chime because it’s horn sound like a Erie chime
