Lappland offers 2 block with arts burst s2 and special ability cancelling Warf/Ptilopsis are still solid healers in 2024, the former a deadly combo with Exia and the latter a team-wide SP recovery booster Shamare is a classic debuffer that lets you weaken elites/bosses considerably with a global effective summon on relatively short cooldown for the 6*, basically anyone you like except Shining or Skadi

Of the five stars you could put on your custom kernel banner Lapland or Specter are often some of the higher recommended, though most have some utility. As you can only get one from the banner via the cert shop chose carefully on you you might need. Lapland: has Silence a very useful ability that prevents some units from using their abilities, not to mention is a ranged guard like Midnight Specter: has regen (at elite 2 she gains a 2% of total HP per second regen) (it's uncommon for 5 stars to have two talents) also a Aoe Guard like Popukar Ptilopsis : same class as perfumer (though no global HP regen) being an Multi tgt medic, and fairly good at it, with her Talent being one of her more useful features as it allows many ops to recharge their skills a bit faster (3 sp per 10 seconds) Warfarin: has a very strong atk buff based skill, also has a talent for SP generation (when some one kills an enemy in her range she gives a skill point to a rando friendly within range) Pramanix: is a debuffer reducing enemies Defenses and arts resistances or atkspd Shamare: is also a debufer though focusing on Defense and attack reduction (and a fairly good one at that) Astesia: is a Arts fighter (Deals arts damage) (less of a priority if you have Viviana, also Sideroca is available from the Darknights' Memoir event -another arts guard who has some good sustain) Texas: is a decent vanguard (though you can get her if you finish the pinboard missions) Zima: is also a fairly decent vanguard Graythroat, Blue poison and Platinum are all decent five star snipers (you can also get Kroos alter from the Invitation to Wine event who is a very good upgrade to Kroos and on par with these three) Project Red: is a fast redeploy op Nearl: is a good healing defender Feater: is a pusher Sora: is a Bard, an ATK Buffer (also heals units with range) Meteorite: is a better Catapult, though IIRC you should of gotten Jieyun from the vernal winds event who is roughly on par and in the same class Firewatch: is a long range sniper who has an invisible skill (can not be tgted or dmged while skill is active), can also drop in a Arty strike dealing AoE dmg to up to 3 units Waai fu: also a fast redeploy (though gravel is arguably better) Manticore: an ambusher basically you place them in front of a blocker (as they have no block of their own), deals a respectable damage, has access to invisibility when she is not attacking but has a slow ATK speed (Ethan is generally considered just as good but only a 4 star -though he does less dps) Reed: an ok vanguard Executor: Pinecone is arguably better (at lest in the early game) Skyfire: a splash caster (like Lava and Gitano), while better than Lava, Lava's own five star version Lava the Purgatory (obtained from who is real event) can be argued to be better still, to add insult to injury Gitano herself can be said to be just as good in some cases

Funnily enough, you can beat CR-8 with only one 3* (cardi my beloved). There are some HUGE brain doctors with expert timing who've beaten mateo with many other strategies such as killing him by shifting him, killing him using only bibeak, killing him using cardigan and friston, tons of ways. I think if you knew that the launchers could be used after barricades broke, you might've been able to clear it w/o optimizing, and without needing to borrow anybody. Choose whoever you want for the 6* and 5*, but I suggest not choosing texas for your 5*, as you'll get her for free after the beginner pinboard missions. Just so you know, this is the SECOND r6 collab, so there may be *slight* confusion when they talk about stuff during the story

I dunno if you want to watch a guide, but theres a guide who beat CR-8 with 2 defenders (cardigan and friston) and the mine launchers in a cross pattern. If you wanted to borrow for CR-8, there are several options, i'd go with before dusk. Honestly gut says try penance. yeah penance dominates CR-8

Short non-spoiler rundown of the parts of the 1st event that are helpful to know here: Team Rainbow was pursuing a mad scientist, Levi, and had managed to corner him in his underground bunker/laboratory, Magnethill. Levi had somehow managed to acquire some kind of extra-terrestrial material (originium) that he was experimenting with for nefarious purposes. During their attempt at apprehending him, the first R6 operators in the game, Ash, Blitz, Frost, and Tachanka, are teleported to Terra through the power of deus ex machina, setting off the rest of that story. Having lost contact with the first team their backup, Ela and Iana, follow in their path only to find a dead end where the lab should have been with no trace of their teammates, which is where this story picks up.

Oh yeah, definitely play Siege if you're not feeling with reading the story for the moment. Maybe you might discover the references used in the collab.

that 'the sand' is a 'late-game' game mode, basically a survival base and resource management where you explore a region in sargon, encountering enemies and foods, farming nodes(trees, stones, etc) to build up your defence in your base to prevent the enemies (raids) from destroying your center hub. but you can play the game mode whenever you want since you can restart from zero, restart base and some things.

part of a warriors training in the murim is to spend time with the common folk, to give them an attachment to the land to give them something to fight for. which will allow them to reach the next level. you ask someone to protect the common folk of yan, you train them how to use their sword, but the journey is to train them mentally to want to protect these folks and risk their lives for them.

The Reclamation algorithm is sorta a resource management base building long term sorta gamemode. You collect resources across days, upgrade your base and defend against raids as you expand outwards and stuff.

E2lv50 is enough, if you want the module you need lv 60. The Degen module is great, so I recommend unlocking it. I only have Ray on E2lv90 because I need to f- love her :)

Don't bother with getting your E2'd 6-stars to 90, it's a massive amount of resources for little stat gain that isn't going to matter outside of extremely difficult content. I stop at 80 for mine and realistically, 50 is enough. Your LMD & EXP will be better spent leveling more operators to fill out your roster or getting skill masteries on your favorite skills on your favorite operators. Reason for this being that it takes about the same amount of LMD and EXP to level an operator from E0L1 to E2L50 as it does to go from E2L50 to E2L90. So for the same cost you can either make one already mostly leveled operator that can be used in any content marginally more useful, or take a new and completely useless in high end content operator and bring them up to a perfectly useful level.

Cantabile is goated, despite being day 1 player, I STILL don't have her. She's great when you just don't have Ines and still need really damn good agent vanguard. Her range, being pseudo fast deploy and hitting hard is defo what makes her great. Plus she induces PTSD when you fail a mission with her voicelines, so that's a nice bonus lol

FYI, this event is the third episode of an ongoing saga and the very next event on the EN server will be the fourth, which is called "Here a People Sows". You can also read the first two in the Side stories archive, like Break the Ice. The order of the events are: "Who is Real" -> "Invitation to Wine" -> "Where Vernal Winds Will Never Blow" -> "Here a People Sows" PS: There is also the Story collection "Ancient Forge" which technically precedes all of these, but it only serves to introduce one character and you can easily skip it if you want to start the series.

Bro, just saying, asbestos is actually really really dope. While she is just a 5*, she is actually the best arts defenders subclass since its dosent have a 6* units yet. The advantage of this subclass is they are really good at tanking arts damage. And asbestos specialty is that she actually gain sp if attacked by arts damage, with help her activate skill faster. And she actually has pretty good damage and attack range with s2 too. I highly recommend you to build her.

Of your new units Cantabile is a good Vanguard, She is of the Agent subtype which works as a sort of fast redeploy operator (as their redeploy time is 35 seconds instead of 70), allowing you to use them as a quick response unit, though they only have 1 block. Their type has a two tile range so they can attack units from behind other units, and they can hit Air targets. Her Skill 2 provides a decent DP generation, provided she is attacking something. Perfumer is a very good four star medic, her main claim to fame is her talent, which provides a passive global healing ability, which affects units that normally can not be healed by regular medics. (Notably Juggernaut Defenders -that be units like Penance and Mudrock; and Musha Guards such as Akafuyu, Utage and Hellagar) Deepcolor Is like Meyer, though of the four star variety. Vendela Is an Incantation Medic, This Archtype can not heal units regularly, instead they attack enemies like a regular caster, once they do so they heal a friendly unit in range for half her attack (advantage extra arts dmg with a side order of healing, down side no healing if their is no one they can attack). Hibiscus Alter is of this subclass. Their are some 336 playable characters (as of this post 311 are currently available in Global). This story takes place in Yan which is IIRC based off of Song Dynasty China. As for the Welfare that indeed is Jieyun, who is of the Artilerymen Sniper class (Catapult, Meteorite, Shirayuki). Edit: Most Cities in Arknights are in fact mobile. Many Towns are also mobile.

Perfumer and Cantabile are both really good pulls. Perfumer is fairly unique in that she has a constant passive global heal that will even heal normally unhealable units and Cantabile is an agent vanguard that lets her work as a sort of fast redeploy assassin while still generating DP.
