This video goes into detail on how to dig a hole, prepare soil, types of soil to use and an overall in depth explaination of how to properly plant a grape vine.
Thank you. I’m growing grapes for the first time this year.
@@SisterPreacher thanks for watching…. make sure to see the 1 year follow up to see the results.
I think you're great, loved all the ideas. You do need a better videographer.
@@alicemassing8170 Thank you for your feedback and nice complement.
What zone in Florida are you in? I'm in Hollywood, Fl. Zone 10b

Camera person sucks
Good job sir and thank you
You can eat the moringa leaf expeling any stem by cooking it in 100degeree boiled water for 20 minutes as much as you like .
Dear sir, great video. Please wear gloves. Black cow manure can have tapeworm cysts, and I got a horrible tapeworm infection and it could have been from scooping manure with bare hands and later, eating without fully scrubbing fingernails. Be safe my friend! Thank you for planting gardens!
Good info. Did you hear all this through the grapevine?
I know this is a long shot because the video is so old but can we get an update on this grape vine please?
I just got my concord plant from Home Depot and am trying to get precise directions. Am I being presumptuous with having to irrigate (well) the newly planted vine once put in the ground??
Wish you would have showed us the growth rate of this vine and if you prune it or what. I thought the main stem was supposed to become like a wooden tree. I’m not seeing this in yours and curious why not.

Love your site I’m a new grapevine grower 3 years in with lots of growing grapes love the water system you have with fish
Awesome videos! Very helpful 👌 Time for another update on the grapes👏👏👏👏🍇😁
Stark Bros are tops in my book! I initially bought 6 bare root vines from them. They immediately grew and 2 plants actually produced grapes. They were small but OMG they were good, barely made it to the house to share with wife. Next year I bought 7 more bare roots that grew even more vigorous than the others. Canadice grapes are GOOOOOD!!!
I would avoid using the soil that came with grapevine because it is a risk that soil is infected from store or from nursey(farm) and all diseases spread in my garden
Thank you
I use mushroom compost
Could you do a video on planting a peach tree? I decided to plant 2 fruit trees this year but I have never done it before. Thanks for your help!
Thank you for sharing
Nice video but way to long for what was accomplished
😅😅 XV
Always mulch your plants
Seedless grapes were created in a human lab by scientists and seeded grapes were created by god and they give you way more health benefits
wouldn't you plant that more away from end post to let the 2 sides grow along the wire? new to grape training just generally asking
Grea. Thanks 🙏.
Hey, can you do a video of your aquaponic system? Thanks
Much more helpful than any algebra class i took in school. And I'll remember this. Very rewarding growing your own. So why not teach it in school?
thanks!!
Glad you enjoyed!
I would wear gloves and use a kind of a knee pad Thanks
should be the roots out so they go different ways
Yes they should. You want the roots growing away from the tree to give it a sturdy base.
Very glade to see you agin in this video.
I like your clip video so much see you again for next videos thank you .

hello , what city are you in? Interesting video
The person who shoot this video destroy his vlog
Why not mix the bags of soil In a wheelbarrow and then you have it ready. Also get some coconut fiber and mushroom compost and to your mix looks alsome
I do that at times. It was more of a basic video to show everyone how easy it is to plant with some basic tips.
Awesome…just connected…I really am interested in the “Chop and Flip” Aquaponics System…I look forward to watching more of your content…Salute!!!🍃🍃🍃
Cool name!!!
Which variety of grape vine is this?
It's a concord
Sir! You are winning 🥺
Could i plant in may??
Absolutely....now is a great time!!!
Where's the beehive? Please show us how to make the aquaponic system- I'd like to do something similar. 🙂
Unfortunately I sold that house and no longer have the aquaponics system. However, I bought a piece of land with a pond and transported them. The whole aquaponics thing is cool and all but you have to be very careful with keeping the water levels just right as to not kill the fish. I will soon be planting on my piece of land and will make more videos very soon.
Where did you get your posts? I like those thin and round vs a 4x4.
I didn't think grapes liked having organic matter in the soil? Wouldnt all that OM hurt the acidity of the soil?
I didn't really put too much manure if thats what your referring to but it seems the grapevine really took well to it in a whole. You can watch the 1 year f/u to see how it turned out.
Dude you suck at informing people how to do this you talk talk talk and you forgot the mos important thing of everything didn’t you know grapes need to have 2 wire above so the branches can lay on???? You totally say everything wrong
You should mix all ur soils together. It'll save u time when ur filling ur holes or pots.
I do that sometimes. More so if I'm planting a ton of plants I'll pre- mix the soils in a wheel barrel.
I would love it if you make more videos on how you plant everything that you have in your garden. How you fertilize it and every when you should fertilize it. Which natural fertilizers are best you use and where do you get your plants/seeds from.
