"Remissed"??

A couple things...I think the Suns now have as good a chance to come out of the West as anyone. Period. They have some flaws but I think every team in the West has some flaws. Beal, Durant and Booker missed a combined 50 games last year and I think that could easily be better this year. The Suns were 27th in 4th quarter turnovers last year at 3.8 a game. They managed to get the two best guys in the NBA in Jones and Morris, when it comes to assist to turnover ratio, to take on most of the ballhandling. They will close out a lot more games this year and they won 49 games last year. I also think people are really underestimating the coaching change. Vogel was a defensive minded coach who had no idea what to do with the offensive pieces he had. Budenholzer will know exactly what to do with these pieces. My guess is the Suns win somewhere around 55 games, finish as a top 2 team in the West and can make a push toward the Finals. I still think the Celtics are a better team at the moment but the Finals are now in play after this move.

Sneaky good move, suns get a solid point guard with playmaking ability to run plays for booker, KD, and the rest of the squad. Plus the addition of defensive specialist Ryan Dunn from this years draft improves an area the suns were lacking last season.

I don't see this team coming together and making an actual run. Playoffs, sure. But their peak is western conference finals (and that's a stretch IMO)

your sounding like spencer is a godsent, he's been ass after dallas stint. and there's a reason why he still a free agent before this, and you keep saying dallas gave up spencer for kyrie well infact dallas got a deal with that one turns out it worked out for them as a major steal, and spencer on dallas was good before but also didn't get that far as they need brunson which he is gone, probably reason spence back in dallas cuz his career is free falling downwards and dallas gave him a chance to be with them on a 1 year deal. imo the dallas works this one out is not about spencer playing well but if they have that chemistry same as last year.

Jarace since we drafted him, has wanted to be a finesse player. We didn't draft him for that. We don't want a ballerina in a linebackers body. Management has said they wanted him to work on his defense and rebounding this summer. Didn't see it, I think he's getting shipped.

Total Over Pay in Nembhard. He is decent but not Elite. I was not too impressed with him in playoffs on defensive end and in the Clutch. He also forgets about SIakam in post and shoots first. A me first not Team First Player.

Just disappointing that we have the #6 and 8th overall draft picks on our bench. Toppin is huge defensive liability and Nembhard is undersized and got absolutely dominated by Dame and Brunson in the playoffs. Rick gets onto Mathurin about defense but these two get praise and huge money, I dont get it. I'd imagine Mathurin is going to want out of Indy immediately when he gets the opportunity if they give Nembhard the starting spot permanently

This extension is good for both sides. Nembhard could have waited until free agency and bet on himself. In the meantime, he would have been drastically underpaid and risked injury lowering his value. The Pacers get to keep him for less than Andrew would have asked for in free agency. The Pacers wouldnt have been able to afford that higher number and could have lost him for nothing. Pacers have cap concerns going forward. They may decide they cant afford Nembhard. He is a point guard who can play shooting guard but has more value to another franchise as a point guard. If the Pacers trade Nembhard, his 19 million dollar contract allows them to get more value in return than his 2 million contract would have. So Andrew gets paid and the Pacers have a valuable trade chip. Between now and the trade deadline, the Pacers get to see if Mathurin is the shooting guard of the future. If the Pacers don't decide to trade Nembhard in the next two seasons, he signed a 3 year contract so he will extension eligible.

I agree with you on Brown. I haven't seen anything from him that suggests he'll be a regular in the League.

Bro making Dinwiddie overrated

Wow Timberwolves are overrated as hell. They will be a borderline top 4 team in the west at best. They are a below avg offense, and their defense is still heavily predicated on Gobert, whose value is elevated in the regular season and reduced in the playoffs due to his obvious exploitable weaknesses. OKC is miles better than them, they will have a top 5 offense again and might have the number 1 defense in the NBA next season.

It’s funny you like the Dinwiddie move. I actually agree with you and think this will be a huge deal but most mavs fans are saying they don’t care and assume he will get DNP’s
