There's a UMKC historian on staff?

This is sad. Someone needs to restore this house. I can’t believe they’re letting this historical house fall apart on their campus… tragic.

So sad and disappointed that UMKC didn't appreciate the value of this property been neglected it to this point of disrepair. Sad that is not respect or even enough vision to realize the posibilities of this property, Sad that they didnt appreciete this magnificent gift! SHAME on UMKC

To Sylvia, Hi, its been 2 years and it still has Haunted me, as in how can some woman just used me constantly to trauma dump dark things upon me, 3 months of my life caring if you were okay, 3 months of every Friday Saturday and Sunday staying up late at night to see if you were okay, You never acknowledged that and truly said thank you at the end of it All of this craziness really started because i thought that you were going to die, i thought you were not getting the real help you needed but That was not true but it wasn't my fault from the way you talked and constantly made dark jokes that even I couldn't understand, You use people's empathy to constantly attract their attention, Honest-to-God an attention intention seeking human being and you still haven't changed in the last 2 years, This is your second if not third year of making a play about yourself, Your therapist are very clearly not helping you, Don't just need a therapist for your relationship Trauma but also for your personality, You are literally The extraverted version of my eternal mind, My negative mind, The difference being you think you can solve all the worlds problems by constantly doing nothing and constantly complaining, Your job doesn't involve helping people or making a difference just doing your job and at the end of the day or when you are on break complain to your friends or your family or colleagues about everything, I know your personality type I know a lot about you within that 3 months, You believe because you are born with a vagina between your legs that the world owes a very good looking and tall man, You don't try to improve how you look how you act what you believe or your negativity towards the world To get a man, You don't try to stop making really sexist jokes towards men, And NO The fact that you are born with a vagina between your legs doesn't give you the right to constantly make those disgusting jokes, No man it doesn't matter what religion believe in or what race they are or what they believe in politics no man on this planet once a female in their life That constantly complains about literally everything, work, Relationships, Religion, Politics, family, friendship, University, The government, movies, video games, You even complained about people complaining about video games and movies yes I remember that stream, No one wants it, Normal women and man have to work on themselves, Men have to work hard on their humor how they look how much money they have what job they have and so on, you literally do nothing, Why would you ever think you deserve a man, I know for a fact you want children before your 30 you're not going to have children if you keep acting this way you're going to only have cats, And let's use some logic it's very clear and very obvious that reason your boyfriend left you is because you are endless negativity, It wasn't because you weren't Christian enough that doesn't make any logical sense, Wasn't because he didn't find you attractive any man would have sex with a dead horse it doesn't matter Your boyfriend left you because he actually couldn't take it anymore, I don't know who raised you to be like this but it is your decision every day to constantly be looking Into the news, it's your decision to constantly think these negative stuff all the time, It's your decision to constantly make very dark jokes, And your decision to constantly make sexist jokes, Your decision to believe the whole world is against you! 3:25 - Guys, the SB134 bill is not going to outlaw discussion on lgbt topics. I read through the whole thing word by word 3 times now, and nowhere does it say that. If it did, I'd be up in arms with you. But it outright says that it will not affect any "course components of a school's curriculum", meaning school subjects will remain untouched. What it will do, instead, is prohibit teachers from ENCOURAGING their students to "adopt a gender identity or sexual orientation", as the summary well-words it. Key word: encouraging. This will, in turn, encourage students to think about their sexuality and gender preference on their own terms instead of being pushed by an authority figure to pursue something they may really not identify with once fully developed. It is better for the young to take their time on these thoughts than for instructors who barely know them to push them in that direction too early. Same goes for the parents. One of, if not the biggest, reasons most young trans end up detransitioning is because they feel they were pushed to transition too quickly in their childhood. This, in turn, increases their depression and suicidal tendencies because 1) lots of money that could've gone to tuition and mortgage is now wasted, 2) their parents are now angry at both themselves for supporting the child too fast and the child for changing his mind after all the money spent (making the child feel more alone at home), and 3) the child then starts wishing all his friends and family had pushed back on him more instead of blindly following his emotions. But don't take my word for it. Just look up detransition stories on UA-cam and I guarantee you'll hear this in most of these heartbreaking cases. This is also reflected accurately in several psychological studies, one that was done by a transwoman if you can believe it. This is not to say transpeople are bad or to discourage surgical treatment. There are plenty of good cases where people transition and they feel better and live happy lives. But there are also plenty of awful detransition cases caused predominantly by premature encouragement; and this is something that needs to be addressed if we are going to shed light on the trans-community's problem of high suicide rates and increasingly growing detransition rates. The second thing the bill intends to do is instruct teachers to inform parents when their child feels like they are the opposite gender or wants a use of different pronouns (let it be noted there is nothing about reporting sexuality). There is nothing wrong with that. It is completely in line with school policies across the nation. Should a child express concern over how his parents may react, there are already systems (that should be) in place to deal with such situations. I do not say any of this to draw ill-will or fully discredit this current crew, but rather to diffuse a nonexistent situation and bring calmness. I advise you to please read the bill again and read it thoroughly. You guys use to cover these kind of hot stories well. I would like to see more of that again as a Roo myself. Feel free to gossip about this comment, should you choose to do so. But while you're at it, please tell me where in the bill it says it'll ban lgbt discussion and be sure to quote it. Better yet, read the bill in class next Thursday and see if you can get Kraske to agree with you. I'd like to know his thoughts. Edit: minor grammar
