James Bond Triumph Scrambler 1200 , Corgi 1:12 scale model unboxing (with bonus model)
Unboxing of Corgi’s 1:12 scale model of the Triumph Scrambler 1200 motorbike from the opening scene of the movie No Time To Die filmed in the Italian town of Matera. One of the best stunts in the movie is a motorcycle jump up the city wall that was done for real by stunt rider Paul Edmondson.
It is a well detailed model but I do wish that Hornby would produce a kit of it under the Airfix brand. Many years ago I built the Airfix Autogyro “little Nellie” from the James Bond film “You only Live Twice” & thoroughly enjoyed it.

Unboxing the Nikon Z fc with 28mm F2.8 SE lens. The dealer offered a Billingham Hadley small Pro bag as a pre order incentive. So far I am very pleased with both the camera & lens, they are a great combination with the feel of a film camera but the advantages of digital. In my opinion Nikon have got this spot on. The Billingham bag from the dealer was a big bonus, I love Billingham bags.

    Those are all nice kits, but the mix of scales would kill that idea for me. Everything I have is in 1/72 (or 1/76 in a few cases).

    I've built several of the Spitfire and P-40B and one of the MiG-17 and enjoyed all of them. So I think the value is there. That said, I can't see myself ordering a mystery box. I'd rather just pick out what I want. (I also built the SM.79 in about 1977!)

      I also like to research a subject & build a model for a reason (eg a Halifax as I live in an area that saw lots of Halifax squadrons in WWII). Sometimes though I like a surprise and do the research after getting a model. Time will tell with these models as to how many I build and how many end up in the stash.

    And they email your order confirmation with the kits detailed out. Mine was same as this one, so likely this is what everyone gets. Would have liked a new release to have been included but hey ho. Not so 'mystery' now.

    • @WoldsEndPhotography
      @WoldsEndPhotography Рік тому

      I deliberately didn’t look at my email receipt as it would spoil the surprise, it would be better if it was listed as “mystery bundle”. I ordered the £22.99 one a year or so back & had to chase up delivery, they told me they were waiting for more stock of one model which was one I didn’t really want so I asked them to pick another & send that rather than delay my order, this they did. It would be better if these bundles were picked at random.

    • @andrewharbron5841
      @andrewharbron5841 Рік тому

      @@WoldsEndPhotography agreed. The way they sell it leads you to think there's some "random" involved. I can't lie, there might have been alcohol involved in my decision, but I was excited at what it might hold. Until I found out via email. But hey ho, no one forced me into it. And in some sense it means I have to build outside my comfort zone. And that's no bad thing.

    Pity they cannot show a bit more imaginative choices. Yet another Spitfire and P-51! The Tiger Moth is another disappointing choice. I was going to order this Mystery Bundle. I won't be now. Only the Dogfight Double and, Me-262 are of any use to me.. Given Airfix prices generally though, it's not a bad deal. However,I don't buy many Airfix kits nowadays as they're pricing themselves out of my reach. I always look for cheaper alternatives now. Price wise,I think Airfix is no longer competitive.

    • @WoldsEndPhotography

      It is a risk buying these bundles which is one or the reasons I made this video as Airfix say on their website "Our Mystery Bundles are a set selection of items from available stock. Only when an item is out of stock will be replaced by another mystery item. " So there is a good chance if you bought the bundle just after this video was made you would receive the same kits. I'm quite please with the selection and it was a good saving on buying the models individually at full price but then I'm building up a stash of Aircraft kits to build over winter :)

    Thanks for the upload. I have known this water since the early 1980s (with a few spells away from it) and it is interesting to have a record of what it looked like in 2007. In my opinion, the club have removed too many water lilies in recent years and that has contributed to a problem with an invasive oxygenating weed. The tons of fish-meal based boilies and pellets acting as a fertiliser. The very warm, sunny spring in 2020, exacerbated the problem and also led to an algal bloom.

      @@WoldsEndPhotography Thanks for the reply. There are still plenty of lilies and they do need keeping in check (especially the yellow Nuphar lutea), but I feel that they have overdone it a bit. The excessive weed growth has been a real problem in the last two years. I admit that I am a bit of a traditionalist and enjoy float fishing close in next to the lilies for tench and carp. It is still a lovely water, especially if you are lucky enough to fish on a quiet day with plenty of choice of swims.
