At the weekend I was fortunate enough to get a few hours on the 2023 Street Triple 765 RS, the test ride was arranged through A1 Moto Triumph in York. Unfortunately I lost around 40 minutes of footage, and this was the better stuff so I do apologise. Links below to A1 Moto, its a brilliant dealership with amazing staff and a great atmosphere! www.a1moto.com/ #bikerboys #motorcycle #triumph #tri...

This was my test ride of the Triumph T120 Bonneville, the bike was supplied to me by@triumphworldchesterfield5856, unfortunately that same week Liz Truss and Mr Kamikaze decided to destroy the mortgage market and we got hit with an additional £300 per month, wiping out my hopes of a (nearly) new bike this year. I am honestly in love with this bike and I will definitely be working towards owning...

UK Beginner Motorcycle Roads Guide: A57, Snake Pass, Derbyshire, Peak Disctrict
I wanted a Speed Twin 1200, test road it and couldn’t get on with the riding position. I bought the T120 because I don’t want hip cramps 😉
Why tell us you can flat foot it at 6,2 you could flat foot an African elephant at that height, for some reason all you guys over 6 foot tell us this like we wouldnt know
beginner riders should not try this bike FFS idiotic video. As an ex advanced instructor do not jump onto a litre 150 bhp bike straight away
Awful rider. Learn to cancel your indicators
Love review buddy have one my self same year and colour unfortunately it was loosing power every so often only 6000..miles..got new imu of triumph ko pros so all good again love it..👍🇮🇪
Anyone ever told you sound like Mick McCarthy. Good to see you enjoying the Tiger. I’ve got a new 660 and love it but trying out the 900 gt pro soon. What is it about bikes that always makes you want to change.
Just biker thig 😊
It is vibey?
When i ride the 2016 Zero SR, sometimes tesla electric vehicles, and various several hundred thousand dollar super cars will attempt to accelerate at a greater speed than the zero. and there is, it seems, no comparison. riding the zero sr is essentially riding a very very very powerful electric motor, with two wheels and something to hold onto. with that said, i recently test rode an energica electric motorcycle and it felt at least twice as fast, as riding the zero sr on the fastest (race) settings. dollar for dollar, the energica is now my favorite electric motorcycle. although, i purchased my Zero SR used, for only a few thousand, which is outstanding, and common among zero motorcycles. if buying new, however; the energica seems like the clear winner, if wanting the fastest charging capabilities, and feels much much faster overall, as well. the zero is an amazing motorcycle. i hope to add a turbine, or some kind or type of generator/range extender to this electric motorcycle, as an experiment. it would be wonderful to have the sound of a micro turbine spinning at several hundred thousand rpm’s, one of my favorite sounds.
I’ve not stoped laughing purely for the joy your experiencing brilliant bike
Not for beginners
It will have to come down to 5 lac inr that is some 6k usd if it wishes to enter the india market. Tge biggest two wheeler buyer market.
Good job, enjoyed the mix of on bike and drone footage. 👍
Went to a dealer. Tested the gsx8s and was happy. Then he suggested this bike. Ok. Went fine. Found it easy, even more than 8s. Then later I saw the pictures I took. It was in A mode!!! And I am used to a S40/ls650. I want this. Easy to ride, boys and girls. Oh, and I my bike has nothing on this. Brakes, suspension, comfort is superior. Hard ride home....
Definitely considering this bike but have alot of saving to do first especially for my cbt leading to my full motorcycle licence
Remember 2021 fuel crisis @ £10 a gallon IF you could find some & wait 4 hrs in que ,... best bike ive ever had in 45yrs of biking is the SRF ,unreal motorcycle, pure bliss
Currently got a gsx 8s having one of these as a courtesy bike next Thursday. 🎉
Enjoy they are brilliant, need to pull my finger out and edit the review I did of the 8-S, cracking midsize bike.
I’m a 60+ rider and therefore I much prefer the modern classic cruiser that is the T120 over the torquier Speed Twin that appeals more to the younger generation riders. I have had motorcycles for most of my life from Hondas, Yamahas, Harleys, etc. but I can honestly say that Triumph has stolen my heart and of all the Triumphs I’ve had (Bobber and Bonnie) the Bonnie is by far my favorite. The Bobber looks and performs great but that seat is definitely not meant for longer rides. I fondly refer to it as the cruel seat and it really makes me appreciate the comfort of the Bonnie’s bench seat. To each his own.
Given my wife would like to get out with me as a pillion, it’s looks like I will have to review my selection, I think a T120 with a sissy bar to keep her happy is on the cards. Lovely bikes, comfortable and enough there to enjoy a brisk ride in the UK.
Too much F..in for me watching a bike review.
What camera and mic do you use bud?
I bought one in 2016. Got an unbelievable deal on it. Turned out to be my favorite bike on the track, as well as on the road. I’m sure there’s better bikes out there, but maybe not for the value you get out of this one. 👍
I was interested in the Zeros, but the company pulling some pay to play scheme with the hardware basically instantly ended any interest i'd have in them.
I have 22 speed twin 1200 I think your hight may be a problem on the speed twin 1200 I'm about 5'6"and I have quite a bend in the knee foot pegs are quite high on this bike
Good start bud , simlpe no bull video and showing the road 😊
Cheers pal
my 2014 Zero SR can do 0-60mph in 3 sec flat
Great ride review. What did you buy?
Lucky you’😅😊what was that swear word again?😊
My predicament too, I just can not decide! Did you eventually decide on which bike to get?
Top speed
Take a look at my picture and you’ll see the Motech bags. This are quite ok for me and the misses. Room for a couple of changes, a couple of bottles of wine etc. I Would love to find a solution for a rack. Would be splendid to be able to have a roll bag behind the pillion rider. That gives a bit of support for her as well. But seems can’t have both with the mote h system. Yeah yeah the ST is mostly a one rider bike.
And the grip heaters are Awesome! I mostly use my Sumer gloves and with those I haven’t got a problem even down to +5-6C.
Cramp… I feel you. I’m 6.06 and have a 34 inseam. If sat to long and get cold the angle of my legs on my ST is to sporty and I will get cramps. I wonder why the HO 1200 can’t be had in the more relaxed Speedmaster? Then again, that bike isn’t sporty. But better for longer journeys.
I Absolutely love mine! Long for spring (beginning of April) when we Swedes get to go ride again. And it still has 94hp at the rear wheel. Nothing not to like except for One thing. The rear shocks are adjustable for compression But to adjust them one has to unbolt both silencers. Strange. Why did I trade my Tracer 9GT for the Speed Twin 1200? 1. Soul (the Yammie has none) 2. Although the Yammie tripple engine is very good, the 1200 twin Bonneville in this form is Sooo great and sound is Awesome. And the low down torque… so easy to drive in town. 3. JUST LOOK AT IT!!!
Strange regarding tyres… I have Avon tyres as standard
Preload not compression?
That excitement and enthusiasm for the bike says everything that numbers and technical specifications can't. Thanks for a great review !
Cheers, honestly if you can, book a test ride!
Just another blasphemer using God's name for no reason at all. A-hole.
Tosser 🙄
Its not bad at all for a cheap budget bike. Lots of fun and super comfy. I have a new 73 plate in my collection, that always puts a smile on my face. Only achieved 170miles on it so far as its winter so looking forward to getting the first service out of the way so I can really open it up properly 16:21
You all in the UK are spoiled with test rides. Here in the States Harley and BMW are the only dealers offering test rides and even those are no more than 20 minutes. No other dealers allow test rides unless you are on the verge of purchase.
The screen is a dealbraker for me... looks so outdated and old...:(
It truly is an amazing bike, has brought the joy of riding back and more
just picked up a Fazer as a porjext bike. Your video eas really helpful, thanks. Looking forward to more!
Cheers! The project took a bit of a sideline but it’s starting up again in a couple of weeks
I've gotta right headache getting my fazer to start, all connections are clean, the switches are functioning, it starts when you bridge the solinoid terminals, but it won't on the starter button..
Have you checked things like the side stand switch? I had to disconnect and bridge mine
I cant even begin to imagine what this must be like, I passed my cbt today on a shit 50cc scooter and had the time of my fucking life 🤣
Fucking awsome pal!
goes to show, you can have fun on any 2 wheels. You dont need 100+ hp to have fun.
if ever you revisit this road after lady bower take Mortimer road over the strines its a cracking road and brings you out back on the a616
I did this route on my way to a meeting at peak forest, didn’t have my camera though. As you say cracking road and definitely one to add a video of
Toured on it soft panniers heated grips no hand or screen 70 miles two days I love it love you do gorgeous gorgeous bike
Can I ask which panniers you used? Thanks
Your CBT experience sounds like mine 😮 Took 3 sessions /attempts to complete it. Won't be doing DAS with them , am going elsewhere. Instructor spent too much time talking and had nothing positive to say to me and the other guy.
Mine was largely my fault for just booking without reviewing the school but you live and learn!
By saying "Begineer bikers" ? 152 hp, 1000cc and begineer bike ha?
I have driven on this road many times going to Sheffield. I ride motorcycles in the USA but I think riding on the left would be dangerous for me. Driving the car on the left is pretty easy but with the bike I think I might get confused. I have ridden a regular bike in the UK but even that seems odd. At least you aren’t going fast. Nice video. Sitting here thinking I should be visiting Derbyshire sometime.
Went up Garrowby OK?
Absolutely no issues, it’s got oodles of torque
@@shedofrevs be interesting to see the rs and speed twin comparisons. I reckon they will disappoint you.
I'm 6'3" and the Speed Twin seemed a bit small for me. I've pretty well settled on the T120 for my first bike. I just haven't pulled the trigger yet because I want to put back a bit more money for accessories before I get it.
Great stuff subscribed and liked. I've got the striple r 2012 and I love it so far. I've had all the blades and r1s and gsxr srad but I'm in my 60th year now so the 675 is more than enough for me and it is 1 owner in black with gold wheels which looks like new
I just got my license and my dad has one of these in his garage. He says for me to try it, its an easy bike and very managable. Im a bit reluctant because of the power and weight. Im 29, been riding 125cc since my 15th birthday and car license since 18th. Im a pretty calm rider. My driving school had a GSR600 and I really liked the bike and found it pretty easy to ride.
You might be ok if you put it in c mode, which makes it more tame. Sports mode (A) I wouldn’t recommend for a beginner. It might seem and easy bike for your dad but I assume he has more experience than yourself?. Personally I went from 125, 650, 1000 took some advanced riding lessons along the way and made me a quicker, smoother rider.
As below, I found the bike very manageable in C mode, and obviously using my own restraint and being smooth on the controls.
Would have preferred just start to end vid of the road and route with no corny music just engine sound. I see you have aimed for a more youtuby style here. Good luck regardless 🙂👍another good road is the road to chapel en let frith from Glossop through chunal then either Buxton way or edale. Basically they're all mint on a bike! 😊
