Space x launch (from bridge)
this is the SpaceX manned launch to the international space station.
It was the first on US soil in almost a decade and the first from a private company in history!

Working on the homestead for about 2 hr. The tracks are working well but I blew an old hydraulic hose. I should have it up and running in about 2 days. Case 1845 Vermeer BC625A Brush chipper Stihl ms170
Building tracks for 1845 case skid steer
Переглядів 33 тис.6 років тому
Case 1845 skid steer home made tracks. the cost was $285.00 and it took about 9hr of solid work.
Hell yeah man.
wears the wheel bearing out, dont use them 100% of the time
What kind of wear & tear does running tracks on a wheeled steer have on the drive sprockets and chains? When you clamp down on the tracks, it (in theory) should also push the chain sprocket centerlines outward and tighten the drive chain.
I have rusty T010's just letting you know :)
Well done!
Great Job
best video DIY yet!!
this still in use? how are they holding up and anything you would do different?
On the small skids has anyone ever tried snowmobile tracks?
Congratulations for the beautiful work, could you please inform me the model USB 3.1 / 3.0 card and also card with SAMSUNG NVME
How are they holding up? Is there a reason you didn't go every other link?
Nice job
Homemade tracks very good nice 👍👌✔
✔super✔
looks like it works for ya but dang dude..why not try to find a good 4u case for cheep if ya want to run all that ? it would make more sense wouldnt it ?
How are your tracks working out and would you make any changes im starting to make a set now
you may have a buyer beware card since it was purchased on ebay!
It doesn't matter which of the sides of the power supply you connect to. Both sides get power from both power supplies, thus the redundant power part. So even if you put one on one side and one on the other, you could still run it with just one power supply, assuming your power supply could provide enough power.
Open carry while building skid steer tracks 😊👍🏻
Is the pcie x16 card the one you listed in your description? I might want one.
Great Video. Can this also be done on a poweredge r910 ?
How many feet of flat stock and chain
When you go to install them flatten the tires and then re inflate the tires to tighten the tracks
lmao
Well it’s been a year. How did they hold up?
looks good this was my final r710 (i decommissioned mine...lol) gald to see you got the mod done. ua-cam.com/video/WR7Eku51aHM/v-deo.html
I'm looking to do the same thing, I have 3 boys plus myself and just want 1 computer to run for all of us. If you don't mind me asking what was or cost, or how much should I be expecting to build this? I noticed you are running a server. Whats the benefit of doing it this way? I'm not to computer savvy. I used to be but kind of fell out of it. Should I try to a setup with a dedicated gpu for each monitor? Is that were running a server setup helps? Does your server run a higher core cpu to negate to getting cpu bound when running multiple games? Am I making any sense here or am I completely hopeless and not even try this lol.
Hey, I am about to add a gpu to my poweredge r710, I have already cut the x8 slots to make them fit x16. And I am looking around at what methods other people have used to tap into the powersupply in the server. In your part 2 you showed how you used crimping terminals and then hot glue. I am wondering how well this worked and if it's still working. Or if you had had any problems with it. Please could you let me know. Thanks
You can use ipmi to control the fan speed manually
hi how to do it for 1
cool video lots pf work , but great job my friend u get new sub
Whent thru the mud well.....any problem with the track tension?
A forge an anvil a few bag of coal and a hammer would do much better than all that welding the flat bar to shape it.
Was wondering. Could you press the angles instead of welding. ?
Yes you could.
What size chain did you use ?
参考にさせてもらいました 完成しました サンキュS
how did you set up the VMs for gpu passthrough?
I didn't use a virtual machine. If you want to know how I did it you can watch the part 4. If that video doesn't answer your questions, I'll be happy to answer any more that you have. Thanks
Would have been great to have taken them off and run through that again to show how well they do
The reason I built them was I got stuck in that same area before it rained. I agree it would have been nice to be able to show the difference, but I don't have anything that would have been able to get it out of the mud once it's sunk. I guarantee you I wouldn't have made it more than three or four feet.
I am enjoying your videos and also modding my R710…Can you make a separate video talking about how are you configured your NVME boot drive? Are you also using a RAID controller, which backplanes to use, SATA cables, do we need separate boot loader‘s… There is not a whole lot of information on this topic out there.
I'm using the nvme drive as a scratch disk I'm booting off of the SSD. I am using a perc h710 raid card for storage. I did a bios update on it and I've successfully used it with a 10 terabyte hard drive
Aaron Barnett I see.. reason I was asking is because I’m getting decent SSD speeds but slow random 4k write performance.. I saw an article about adding a super fast NVME hard drive via R710 PCIe slot, then bypassing Raid controller and even using a separate boot loader.. all to to get much faster SSD speeds over Instead of the supposed 600MB/s limits that SATA SSDs experience .. so I’ve heard I thought maybe you had gone through all that already I’m your setup is all.
U have a new sub. I have a lot R710 and R720, i sell this server. But, i don´t know what more do whit them. U learnign so much. Thks.
Dell R710 owner here 😀. What the advantages of doing this rather than just use 3 vm’s? I’m looking at getting a graphic card for my machine, any suggestions please? More CAD than gaming. Cheers Sorry should have watched more before commenting 😀.
Did the Video answer all of your questions?
The only real benefit is the use of all the cores when you need them. A VM would limit you to a smaller number of cores dedicated to your VM, or with over-provisioning, you may get worse performance. Also, you only need one gpu for all users in this setup, vs one per VM for those that need a GPU.
HI Aaron, First, thanks for sharing your video; I'm also trying to build a dell R710 as a workstations and server; I found out that r710 did not come with any sound hardware... Therefore, how did you manage to get sound out while playing video games BTW, my os is window 2019 server..
You can either get audio out of your graphics card from HDMI or DisplayPort. You could also use USB headphones which I really like and there are also very affordable USB sound cards I've tried all these options and they all work fine
I talk about the sound issue in my latest video if you want to check it out
Hi Aaron, are you just using Windows 10 or? just picked a R710 up and want to do the same thing as you :)
I'm running Windows 10 Pro hopefully I'll be able to put up another video in the next week or so!
good job !!
i have a few of them........ i feel your life pains
With the GPU overheating (this might be a stupid idea) but did you think about possibly using a water cooling loop with an external 120mm radiator to help with cooling for it

Lol the kid playing Minecraft in the background Nice video
Great work on these videos! Really hope Part 4 comes out soon! Curious to see which OS/hypervisor you use!
Finally getting some off time so I'll be uploading an updated video in the next few weeks!
Part 4 is out if you want to take a look at it
Very good video and would like to see your future video - how to setup multiple game stations..thank you
Thanks! The new video is up
Hi Aaron, I'm very interesting how do you can setup 3 workstations from the server? I really want to build it to my kids can play.
I just released part 4 hopefully answers all your questions good luck
@@aaronbarnett6973 Thank you for your new video. It is really helpful. I am appreciated.
