Sans aucun doute le film que j ai vu le plus grand nombre de fois depuis que je suis petit !! (Plusieurs dizaine de fois !) Je suis un Melvillien convaincu , j aime son oeuvre et en particulier ses 3 chefs d oeuvre (le cercle rouge, le samourai, l armee des ombres)...il est mort trop tot ... Bourvil est magnifique dans ce role ... J aime ce style, cette epoque, ces acteurs, cette esthetique, la musique de Francois de Roubaix ou d Eric Demarsan.... Je roule en Opel Comodore de 1969 et avec d autres voitures de cette epoque. Merci pour ce documentaire.

These 30s are gold!!. Thank you so much for the effort, really appreciate it. This soundtrack was the reason why this scene impacted me so much and I was trying hard to find just the music and not the game noise and narration that's in the show.

I often wonder if they had any inkling of the masterpiece they were creating when they filmed. I think it might be difficult to see from the inside how well something is coming together. They say that when they filmed Casablanca they were making a whole bunch of movies run and gun style, and it was months before anybody watched the finished product and realized how good it actually was.

After listening to the wonderful audiobook of “As You Wish” it’s kind of sad to learn that Wally Shawn didn’t understand the humor of the movie. He gets laughs every take!

I think that the difference between the old super hero movies and the new ones is that we can feel closer to the characters by the addition of normal life scenes (like a dinner, eating street food, or a normal talk). Today it looks like the companies try to give as much content as they can in the movie (like fight scenes) but they forget the simple things that humanize the characters and evoke the feelings that really attract who is watching the movies. Ah, and I loved this edit of spider man❤.
