With low-cost fares at $40-60 each way (cost me $68 to fly here from Las Vegas), it doesn't make economic sense to stay home ;) This is Baja California Sur, Mexico, better than that other California north of the border ;) La Paz is about 3 hours northeast of Los Cabos, a lot less touristy, mostly expats who know better. Very chill town, none of that "all inclusive" traffic. Nice +30C, will go hunting birds with my 200-600mm and 1.4x teleconverter.

@@maxhovid Wow! Those are some ridiculously cheap fairs 🔥 That’s a totally different kind of California. The last time I was in LA was in ‘03 doing an internship for a studio I wanted to work at. Unfortunately, my dad died the following week, days after my return to Mtl. I stuck around for my mom. Time flies. Have a good gaming session! I pity the birds, but obviously you won’t be hunting endangered species, so it’s all cool 😅 Take care :)

They are clearly more intelligent than ravens and crows! Which is astonishing, because Ravens and crows are very intelligent to begin with. But geese beat them easily! They are so trusting - but only to certain humans! And geese can read faces, just like ravens and crows can do. It's a lot of fun to be around Egyptian Geese, Greylag Geese and Canada Geese. Fascinating creatures! I love them to bits! <3

@@RaptureMusicOfficial I have the idea that they just trust more, i don't know if that's a sign of greater intelligence. I mean it is pretty impressive how crows can bury food, in a field and find it again. Wild animals have good reason to fear humans, we've taken all their space and treat them like pests.

@@MegaRudeBoy69 Yes, bummer, but parks are a good place for geese to live peacefully. We should let them roam much more freely. But concerning intelligence, I'm around wild geese regularly for over 10 years now. And their social intelligence blows up every scale. Hard to say why exactly, but they just act like little people. For example, I fed a family of egyptian geese (and later on the same happened with a family of greylag geese), the goose family wanted to leave to settle for sleeping at night. But one kid stayed with me and didn't want to go with them. After 5-10 minutes, daddy returned and fetched the remaining kid, like "now it's enough with the feeding, you hear me? It's sleepy time now!" Or Egyptian Geese "park" their goslings at me, while they fly away, protecting their territory, while I babysit the baby geese... The goose parents "test" me thoroughly, until they decide to trust me 100%! Things like that just make my jaw drop... I just wonder why ravens/crows don't learn from me that I mean no harm. I can handfeed ducks, geese, and swans. There's just a bit more to them. But I want to have a raven on my hand too, mind you. I love birds! <3
