Buongiorno amore mio TVB
Staffy is so good I háve.
Super SPETTACOLARE e BELLISSIMO 💖😍💖💖😍
Beautiful puppy
Awww thanks. I think so too 😍
I just got the hide and slide, its my first one, i think im also going to buy the level one you showed with the white bones, and the level three they need to slide with thier paw My dog (mutt of 8 breeds but mostly poodle and sheltie) figured out the hide and slide pretty fast, i dont think she understands it fully, but can play with it randomly till she gets all the treats
Oh yes! The challenge slider is one of our favourites (the level 3 one). She sounds like a smart cookie! If she’s a rather small breed you might wanna check out the Brick one instead of the Tornado - both come with the bones and both are fun! Another one that is pretty easy but keeps them busy for a while (we use as a slow feeder) is the lickin layers one! I filmed a video about it and you can find the blog post I wrote here enrichyourdogslife.com/product-review-lickin-layers-dog-puzzle-game/ Whichever you choose next, I’m sure she’ll love it. And yes, my wadis also don’t get fully get how it works but that’s OK. That’s how they problem solve and if they get to their reward, then it’s obviously working :) once she figures it out you can also combine different puzzle toys. Maybe use less treats (I imagine she’s rather small if mixed with a sheltie) and split it into 2 puzzles, put them both on the floor for her and let her choose which one she likes to work on. Just make sure you practice each one first and help if needed to avoid frustration. Keep me posted and please give your girly an ear rub from me 😍
I'm at day 6 with my rescue stray approximately 1yr old... She just started going into Heat today. :,( I can't get her into get altered until mid August. Poor baby.
aww you're dog is so cutee!
Awww thanks. He is ☺️😃 ❤️
They do look nice to be fair
Thank you!! Our first try! Planning to bake more!! :)
Beautiful
Thank you so much!!
Very informative video I was particularly interested in how easy it is to clean as I don’t have a dishwasher. But noise, weight, potential effect on nervous dogs etc all good to hear. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! It’s super easy to clean also without a dishwasher. Tbh probably even quicker to just use a sponge and soapy water! Thank you for your lovely feedback! Really appreciate this!
We use a couple of pieces of larger natural treat in with a few small ones. Keeps the dogs interest and them working at the toy as intended by west paws. Half a rabbit ear, a chunk of lamb lung, dried tripe or a duck fillet work extremely well to make use of the top filter.
Thanks for sharing! Great ideas! I like to keep it super simple for my senior but Panda will probably really like this challenge! I’m gonna try it out. Have you tried to „block“ it with one of their other toys too?

i just got my dog 2 days ago 4-26-24 she hasn’t eaten she has been panting (she’s a pomeranian btw) she really don’t anything but hide
Hi love, this article might help. It’s about decompressing your new rescue dog enrichyourdogslife.com/how-to-decompress-a-new-rescue-dog-decompressing-a-rescue-dog/ you can find also more helpful resources regarding building trust etc on my blog. ❤️
THANK YOU SO MUCH💖💖
For more information: enrichyourdogslife.com/a-guide-to-introducing-and-training-your-dog-to-use-a-snuffle-mat/
I have a lab amish mill mom almost 5 years old. Today is 3 months I have had her. She still runs away from me . She will only approach me when I lay on the couch and lick my hand. She won’t eat if I am too near her or look at her. She loves my dog , that is a plus!!! My cat hasn’t come downstairs 😢
Thank you for saving this little darling! It’s a rule of thumb. Depending on how traumatised the dog is, add some months! Her past and human contact must have been rather horrible, so her approaching you and giving you a lick is big. Also, she’s 5 and not a puppy, so it might take generally a bit longer. Each dog and each journey is unique. And if she’s more comfortable when you lie, then I’d use this as information. Chalkie was very similar. He’s deaf and still scared of strangers. So if he’s unsure, if it’s me approaching or he’s unsure of his surroundings, then I go down a bit and it’s easier for him to trust. Same with playing. He prefers if I play with him sitting (on eye level) rather than standing. This might help your girl too, ie avoid „bending over her“ and think of ways to be „less intimidating“. Not that you are - but in her mind humans generally might be. Thank you for saving this precious girl and whilst your journey surely isn’t the easiest one, the even bigger the reward when you see her truly blossoming. ❤️
But what is it. I keep hearing about the ideology. Which js the same ideology as other training methods. What do you do that’s different?
Concept training teaches your dog broader “concepts” like calmness, proximity etc. you start by training these outside of situations (ie no trigger present) and set your dog up for success. This way you don’t just teach the dog a single response to a single event but “reshape” how they think and you for example work on a more optimism or confidence, which translates in different situations and how your dog “does” life. Ie you teach your dog options to act differently than they did before. When we teach in a situation (ie with the trigger present), our dogs might not be able to cope or listen and just react. By taking out this pressure and building the skill set first, your dog learns the skills to be equipped to handle real life situations differently than before (you take the concepts out into the real world bit by bit). In a nutshell: you give your dog options (and skills) to make better decisions. Hope this helps.
What?
“Decompression, in the context of dogs, refers to the process of allowing a dog to relax, unwind, and decompress after experiencing stress, anxiety, or arousal.” You can find the full article here enrichyourdogslife.com/a-full-guide-to-decompression-for-dogs/ ❤️
The quality of your video is very good but the viewers are very few but why? Let me give you some tips. It will help you a lot. No problem, no need to pay
It's so sweet how they recorded videos of Panda in different situations to help you to get to know her personality before adoption. That's so clever and wholesome, I've never heard of this. You're a very responsible dog mom, cheers to you ❤
Right? They’re amazing! I volunteer for them since years and they’re such a great bunch of people! And it makes so much sense. Because when you adopt a dog from abroad you only meet them once they’re actually here. And there are no shelters for “back ups” or hundreds of volunteers .. so glad it all worked out as well as it did for us. Panda looooves all the boys and they adore her (as do I 🤭). But having the videos and conversations removed also the worries upfront, if this is the right decision. Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to leave a comment ❤️
I wrote a related blog post about dog decompression that you might also find helpful: 5 Signs Your Dog Needs Decompression and How to Provide It www.enrichyourdogslife.com/post/5-signs-your-dog-needs-decompression-and-how-to-provide-it
I guess I got lucky . I was at the 3 month mark the first week. My rescue immediately was comfortable with us and company.
That’s great! It’s only a rule of thumb though and every dog is different as well as every dog’s story. If it’s a “simple rehome” where they transfer from one home to another (and maybe even already know the new owner) than this will most likely be very different than a dog who has been abused or never lived in a home .. plus the dogs personality, how easy they trust, the dogs resilience …. One of my boys felt “home” right away too. He snuggled up to me and fell asleep next to my other dogs and took a really deep breath. He’d still struggle with other things - like being scared of the dark, never walked on sand etc. they all unique - just like us 😊 Thank you for your comment and for choosing to adopt 😊
My older dog coco passed away few days back now my Shih tzu Ruby is very sad we try to cheer her up we don't know how to make her happy when we leaves the house for few minutes or hour for work does any specific toys help
I’m so sorry for your loss! It’s a big change for everyone and your little one will need to adapt to being alone - without their dog friend around. There aren’t specific magic toys. I’d rather stick with what works for your little one and what she enjoys most. Lick mats are great generally as the licking can be soothing. And you can spread Ruby’s favourite foods on it and make it extra tasty.
I ment neutering
Thanks for such a thoughtful video ❤ You do amazing job being a mom to those sweet dogs
Thank you for your very kind words! 🙏🏽❤️
Thanks for a good pep talk
You’re very welcome 😃 hope it helped!
Very helpful information, thank you! I have had 2 rescue dogs in the past and this 3-3-3 rule is a good guideline. Although some dogs adjust faster or slower, like you said, depending on their personality and life experience. My Aussie was glued to me almost immediately, but over several months she went from anxiously glued to me to happily, calmly velcroed to me! LOL
Awww she sounds very sweet and very loved 😊 my dogs send a big slobbery kiss to your Aussie girly 😊
Thank you for explaining how to keep shelter dogs calm.
I honestly prefer LickiMat. It's not that SodaPup is bad, but I just feel that Lickimats are designed for dogs and Sodapups are designed for humans - Lickimats are more practical and Sodapups are more beautiful and nice looking. And although LickiMat has less products, all of them are very good and there's nothing to complain about (maybe except Splash, which could be designed better). SodaPup has more products, but only half of them are good for dogs, other are more or less bad and should be redesigned (especially eCoins, I don't know what devil designed these toys, they are awful). So, because I'm a dog person, I prefer the product to be practical and good for my dog, not rather for my eyes. And I think that's where SodaPup are worse than LickiMat
I agree! The designs are more pretty and dogs don’t really care about them. Guess they’re great for Instagram but some of them are not too practical like the heart one. My dogs love the bone one though a lot and I like their treat dispenser and tug toys. But am a big fan of the lick mats from Lickimat and love their new products! And yes, agree with the ecoins 🤣🤣 I am currently putting together a review for them 😅 thank you for your input! 😊
Really great video!
Thank you so much! ❤️
Terrible sound quality. Can't hear it well enough to listen.

Thank you so much! This will help me a lot ❤
I'm at the end of week 5 with a new rescue dog. She's 1.5 years old and she looks like a Texas Heeler. Because she's so smart, it's been a breeze. I chose her after doing a zoom call with her and her shelter kennel keeper. When i saw the love she had for him... I told them I would pick her up the following day (a 7 hour round trip drive). Best thing I've ever done. My existing 8 yo dog had lost her 13 yo sister the month before, and the rescue dog had been found on the streets of New Mexico with HER sister. The sister got adopted first, so basically they had both just lost their sisters. They slept in the truck together all the way home from the shelter. I was a nervous wreck though (worried that there would be conflict while I was driving). Once home we all were exhausted and fell asleep on the couch together. When we woke up... we were a pack. From the first days they were together, people could not believe that they hadn't been raised together as puppies. Grace of God this adoption, for all 3 of us!
Awwww what a beautiful story! Mine get along together super well too - sometimes it’s just meant to be! What a lucky girl to have found you two! Thank you for sharing!! This made me smile and warmed my heart! Thank you! ❤️

Snoopy will say, give me my food on a charcuterie board 😁🐾
And wow!! Love the full size mud socks on Panda and Chalkie!
Oh my dog! These doggy charcuterie boards - looooove them! Haha, might be turning into a new obsession haha. Watch this space, Snoopy haha. Chalkie says hi 💖
@@ynna094 🤣🤣🤣 impressive right? Haha. Soooooooooooo much dirt with these little mud pigs. But muddy dogs are happy dogs, right?
@@EnrichYourDogsLife 100%!! Sadly with my dude his happiness end up at the point his precious body is about to be washed 😆
@@ynna094 oh yeah… Chalkie really doesn’t like the shower either. But legs and tummy are a must in muddy days 😅 luckily he doesn’t roll around in stuff. The girly of course loves a little bath pampering session - but gets the crazy “I rub myself dry everywhere” zoomie session occasionally afterwards 😅 Rambo of course loves it - including the blow dry he demands afterwards 😅🤣🤣

How do you slow feed a dog that you can't leave with a plastic bowl? Just a new chew toy
Hiya, there are plenty of ways to slow feed your dog that don't involve a bowl. While you could train them to not chew the bowl, you could also explore some of the other ways, like scatter feeding, make your own 'snuffle box' or use a towel, so the brain gets to work, or use a can dog toy or a Kong for 'power chewer' (the black ones, either Kong or Sodapup is my recommendation). I put you also together a blog post on some ways to slow feed without a bowl here www.enrichyourdogslife.com/post/paws-and-pace-exploring-various-ways-to-slow-feed-your-dog hope it helps.
They are huuuuuge!! 😋
Please tell my dogs this 🤣🤣 they don’t seem to agree that they’re even big enough 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 hope you guys are well!!! ❤️ xx
How does your senior baby do with the qwixl?
Hiya 👋 I never use the Qwizl for him as wouldn’t “stick” with it. I keep enrichment toys for him easy and low frustration. He loves Toppls, Kongs with chicken - that I let him bring to me to be refilled. We trained the command “get mummy the kong” - this is his favourite thing. And puzzles but only supervised, to keep frustration low and for me to be ready to help out. My other bully loves the Qwizl though! Keep in mind though, that my senior boy was adopted pretty late in life and never had any enrichment before (barely even went for walks as it seems) and was very nervous around food (I had to hand feed him in the beginning and sit next to him for a whole, so he would eat at all). So, I guess for other senior dogs who have more confidence around these things and like a bit of a challenge, the Qwizl would be great. Hope that helps.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you lovely 🐶
Thank you lovely 🐶 hope you and your lovely girl are well 🐕
"throwing around" yes, we did that a lot 😂 this feeder was well loved by Snoopy (had to tape the opening smaller as it was too easy for him), and I actually just recently passed it on to nearby rescue for other pups to enjoy
Awww I love that you pass on the toys to rescue dogs 😍❤️ Snoopy 😅 I’m surprised he didn’t simply unscrew the cap 🤣🤣🤣
Have you tried the Lickin' Layers Dog Puzzle Toy yet? How does your dog like it? 🐶
I love the clips of Chalkie and Rambo! They look so happy and free, especially the beach slo mo 😅
Yeah they loooooooved the beach!! I think it was Chalkies first time at a beach actually. Maybe second. Nothing cuter than a slo-mo of dogs haha ❤

What Kong Alternatives do you use? 😍 Btw Jason is our latest addition to our family. ❤
Waiting for it to arrive will see how it does, we have a wobbly lucky bowl from them, that was a hit with Snoop for a while. And! I love your treasure basket with all the slow feeders 😄
oh keep me posted how he likes it!! I love the no mess bit about it the most hahaha. We looove the Wobble but it's not too challenging, so more an easy snack. Looking forward to summer though when it's a frozen snack. Also love filling it with water and treats then... keeps them busy for a while. Thanks.. tried to organise them in a pretty way but didn't work. Too much chaos, so basket it is for now 😅
Of course, Panda is super precise with her snout of justice 🤣 I wonder if I can make it harder for Snoopy by hanging it on a rope by the loop, like an apple on a rope game. Though, he's smart enough to chew through the rope first🧠🐶🐾
That what I thought 😅 he’ll probably be smart enough to chew threw the rope first 😎🤣 also the loop is pretty small, so you’d probably only be able to fit a small rope through it. You could make it more challenging by freezing it after stuffing though?
@@EnrichYourDogsLife he figured out he can put frozen stuff on the sun to thaw and then throw them vigorously on the floor and from the stairs to get the stuff out 🤣
@@ynna094 Snoop you Legend! 😂 I rest my case haha
