I adored these in the 1970's when Warner Bros put out beautiful record sets of the movies and also when, in San Francisco (of course) they had a whole two weeks of Busby Berkeley movies tributes on KBHK Ch 44, I think, or maybe it was PBS Ch 9 KQED some of which featured naughty Eddie Cantor films, like "Roman Holiday" that featured lots of bodacious bra less cuties bouncing towards the camera smiling away....

Her talent overwhelms my senses!! Only she can do what she does. I don't think she's one in a billion. I think she's the only one. She came straight from Heaven!! ❤❤

Forever captured in these stunning sequences! I think Busby was quite obsessed by her.

I enjoyed these clips. I've always liked Ruby Keeler and these kinds of shows.

Thanks. It is a nice but somewhat strange experience to see someone you got to know first as an old person and later see how they looked and sounded when they were young. We've all seen old pics of relatives but it isn't quite the same. She was very sweet. Used to come in to a place now called Weston Mission Hills and sit by the large arched windows in the restaurant. She said it reminded her of the 'old El Mirador' that was torn down many years ago. She still had those great eyes!

I now understand this movie touches people because it is about love and the pure nature of love is of God himself! Love unconditionally, even if you know it will end, because in experiencing love ...you experience what God has intended for us.

Excellent clip from a great movie . the story ended in a tragedy for Joy and her husband George Adamson. They where both killed in seperate incidents. Joy died when a former employee --seeked reveng and killed her After the sad death of his wife, George met his death from poachers in the persuit to protect his lions santuary. We thank all good people who stride to protect the animal kingdoms of Africa and everywhere on the planet. We rember the Adamson family who truely gave there love.

If something like this movie, or even this movie was shown all over the world the same day. I know it would make people stop and think about there life. What a way to brainwash crime and evil to a stand still just for a day. Outstanding!
