I caught my first fish nearish to there. Caught in the mill pond in Alton, just across Letter S Rd from the Merrymeeting River, right by the fire station. About 40 years later, my wife caught her first fish in the same place. I was behind you at the drive-up ATM and saw the decal on your rear window, so figured I'd check out your channel. Looking forward to future videos, maybe get some ideas of places to go throw a lure in.

A couple years back I lost three of my best fishing spots to sudden closures. For NJ, that is a big blow, since we don't have anywhere near the water that NH does. That was a nice workout to get out on the lake. The amount of beeps made it almost sound like one of my videos. That was a wild explanation on why it was closed.

That’s a good bit of water but the whole thing was submerged front and rear and you still paddled back.

If you are going to video the stick shift try wiping it down

I do surf casting and I use a 0.33 mm line that connects to the shock leader. And the 0.33 line can hold 6.4 kilos, but after a few casts the line broke at the knot on the lead. I checked the size of my line and it was the same, so it broke at the knot that connects the lead. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to buy a stronger line? The type of knot I tie is the clinch knot.

If all pickles wer that big, prob wouldn’t mind catching. On another note. Was golfn last sat at overlook. N saw a 5-6 pounder largie cruzn the river. Couldn’t believe it. Was a monster. Gona keep ultra light n golf bag now on.

Trolling motor and done

Almost like it’s better to just get a cheap kayak and throw a trolling motor on it lol.. pedal drive just seems like a nightmare and not much better long term when trollers are the same weight

Sadly, im not very good with a jerkbait. Ive only got back to fishing after years of not being able to fish. Circumstances of not having access to water because i dont drive due to medical reasons. With this situation, im relearning things i forgot. Plus, dusting off the cobwebs developing my skills to get better and learn. Thankfully, i have youtube to help me learn from skilled and knowledgeable fisherman.
