Our last OAP ride of 2024. Six of us went on the main ride going the long way round to the Abbey Arms with another few making their own way there to save time. A cold run out except for the lucky few who had heated gloves, vests and seats (Carl and Beaky).

A bad day for red and black Triumphs! My choke kept switching itself on, then my mystery electrical fault returned with a vengeance and finally the gear lever fell off just as we arrived at the Bears Paw in Warmingham. When we came to leave, Mark Lafferty's battery had drained itself flat. Luckily Peter had a jump starter with him.

Paul and Darren Henson organised a charity event to raise funds for the North Wales Search and Rescue team. We rode the long way round from the Wheatsheaf in Raby to the White Horse in Cilcain for the event.

Lovely weather and spectacular scenery for Captain Spall's ride to Llamgynog. Two new members on two new Triumph 400cc bikes joined the regulars for a pint of Butty Bach and a cheese omelette at the New Inn.

A damp start to the ride but it got sunnier. Leaving the Swinging Arm pub in Birkenhead we rode down the A41, then took the Welsh Road to Two Mills and back to the pub for burgers and bands via Heswall, West Kirby and Hoylake. Charity ride for Neo organised by Merciless MC.

Quiet day in the signalbox with a four-car DMU doing three round trips from Llangollen to Corwen.

A classic-orientated ride which attracted two Triumph T140Vs, a T140ES, a TR7 Tiger and a Suzuki GT380 for a leisurely run through the Cheshire countryside, then back to the Wheatsheaf at Raby.

John took us the long way round featuring plenty of little lanes with some unexpected obstacles coming the other way! The T160 performed well.

A pint and a game of pool at the Sportsmans Inn on Denbigh Moors before heading off to the quagmire at the 'Waterworks' site at Capel Curig.

Heavy snow led to poor attendance at the 1991 Dragon rally, with only a few hundred managing to ride to the 'waterworks' site at Capel Curig..
