9.8.3. This character loses all text of the original character but keeps any effects that applied to that character when the character with Shift. From the comprehensive rules. That diablo should not have died when shifted over the other diablo. Nothing in the rules states it loses location status.

I doubt there was any real intentional cheating going on. However, as a player who saw cheating going on at Magic tournaments, if a player has to resort to cheating to boost their ego they have far more mental emotional issues than winning at any game will fix.

This is why there are judges and referees. Let's hope we can all practice enough with cards before tournaments to not see too many mistakes happen. This is a problem with not playing real cards as the main "training" dit. Not having the opportunity myself, (my LGS having Lorcana days on a day i work) i indeed played the client fanmade PxLBrn and only on the day of the tournament did I finally play physical games with my cards. The Robin Hood / Jafar deck was fun... but I started Lorcana 3 weeks before the tournament. :S

I originally used Kida for the Under the Sea Combo but pulled her for Lost in the Woods instead. The MVP song though is Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo. It can do incredible things in this deck.

You should try The Queen in this deck. She can Sing We Don't Talk About Bruno on Turn 2 and has amazing synergy with The Muses for a Song Deck. If you Quest with Queen and Sing World's Greatest Criminal Mind with Muses you can banish one character and bounce another.

I've been perfecting a budget deck I call "DissTracks" that feels broken. I'm excited to dive into this and see what you came up with. I think Amber/Emerald can be the Meta-Breaker.

Have you tried running 1 avalanche card? Instead of 4 swords? Is avalanche even worth if not against emerald/steel?

It's because the opportunity to gain from this is very obvious which is why people will make the accusations. I'll fully support you but I think you need to play more local practice because a lot of people are too dependent on online practice which makes abiding by the rules harder irl. Best of luck to you.

hey man i know you said beast and diablo is the core of the deck but what if you own 1 diablo and got really unlucky and dont have a single copy of sad beast?

it seems strange to comlain about how not fun playing EM/ST Bucky discard is when you play a deck that is equally as unfun... you think its fun for your opponent to have you play Be prepared and then just keep playing a removal spell every turn? its literally the same thing.

Played similar R/A deck to the second place deck at my locals this week and got first. My group is very competitive and play meta decks. Be King Undisputed feels REALLY good, especially when it is sung by Rabbit or Goat. I played Goofy instead of Crab/Dolores which won me a game with his 2 immediate lore, but I inked him most of the time. Dolores is an interesting option, but feels like she would be inked a lot as well.

What a great way to respond to this. I don't know you but this sounded incredibly genuine and I believe everything you said to be true. Games happen fast, and honestly if a judge was watching they should be on top of this. Regardless, this type of stuff happens, its on both players to track game state and guess what....that's difficult. I just hope that as a community Lorcana players realize it's ok to question plays, not because they expect they are playing a cheater, but rather to ensure clean play on both sides of the table. In the end, I think that's what ALL of us deep down want. Again, great video and a very well thought out response.

Interesting how this played out, seemed like blue steel would run away with top 16 but that’s why we play the games

Thanks for the review of those meta decks! And when on chat i mentionne dthe Sheriff of nothingham, i didn't mean to integrate it direct in the rough with the sapphire deck, but rather get a set of cards with it but indeed not on the level of the decks you play. You're top charting the ladder, not in the sophomore ranks like i am. My best home built deck is currently 20/66 in ladder. Jaffar-Sheriff draw/discard & lore. Offed 2 Beast tragic hero in 1 single turn whilke 1 jafar striking illusionist was out with 2 sheriffs. Won 20-18
