ordered one, nothing seems to offer this much sata/ m.2 in a mitx form factor. would be nice to get a similar board with an epyc 4004 cpu. (28 pci lanes on epyc vs 20 on a i5-13500T)

I think this might get some real attention. If you get the CL states implemented properly, since the 1166 chip should support them, then there's great idle performance possible. The pci let's someone choose 10g/more 2.5/more sata. Great flexibility. What's the M2 and 1166 pcie lane setup?

Looks like an interesting board for a higher end NAS or home lab. Waiting for this to get on Ali.

Buyer beware: this board is unable to control fans on the SYSFAN connector. I tried with a Noctua AF-12x25, an Artic P12 and a be quiet! Pure Wings 2, all 120mm fans and all connected to the SYSFAN connector. The behavior is always the same: the fans spin intially (at system startup), but they stop shortly after BIOS ends and the OS starts loading. They never start again after that. Same thing happens if I enter BIOS instead of allowing the OS to start. This is independent of how the fan is setup in BIOS, I tried both temperature-based control and sofware (PWM) control at different thresholds (including 255 for PWM mode which should spin the fan at full speed).This is quite a big limitation for me, I wouldn't have purchased this board if I knew about this. I suspect they use a PWM frequency that is outside of the acceptable range, but I can't test that unfortunately. In any case, the motherboard should definitely not behave like this.

No ECC memory = NOGO! No way I would trust a system that doesn't have it. ECC capable components are not expensive anymore like so many keep trying to say.

Hey, unfortunately this video shows only that the board can boot/run with unbuffered ECC RAM sticks, but not that the ECC feature also works, which is the important part. It would be nice if you can also show this ^^

Thinking about getting one of these. Would like to see one of these boards with 10g ethernet. Make for a really good firewall or Nas. Heck maybe both?

Please make exact same board with pcie x8 so you can make firewall of it by putting additional expansion card like 2x sfp+. Just a board so I can fit it in rack case etc. Not a mini PC with connectors on both sides. That would be best board on market to make firewall of your own.
