Ta ta for now
Hello all 👋🏻
I’ve recently started a new clinical role, and whilst I do love it, I have a lot less free time. When I’m not at work I’m loving being outside, and away from screens. Therefore, there will be a pause in my content until I’m in a position again where I can regularly put time into editing and producing my videos.
So it’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later.
Also I’m still posting on my instagram stories regularly if you’re wanting to see what I get up to 👀

PACSAFE VIBE 100 (overview and my review)

I originally uploaded this when I was in Peru a few months ago and HECK the sound quality was awful on it, so here is the updated version with audio that is actually...audible 🫠 I have used Pacsafe products for years now, and feel I can always rely on them to keep my valuables safe when travelling. I can also fit my Kindle Paperwhite in it too (the kids' one) This fanny pack is 4L in capacity, ...

My third stop in Peru this time was at Huacachina. Following a 15 hour bus with Peru Hop (stopping to see the Nazca lines), I spent two days doing Pisco tasting, watching sunsets, and going sand dune buggy riding and sand boarding. I stayed at Hostel Huacachina Sunset and the beds were comfy, the pool was great and the staff were lovely. The included breakfast was fine too, and there were lots ...

Welcome to Arequipa! This was my second stop on my tour around Peru in 2024. I flew here from Cusco (one hour flight instead of a 13 hour overnight bus, hello), and spent some time exploring Arequipa and visiting Colca Canyon. I know there were other things to do here that I didn't do, for example the monastery, but the main thing I wanted to do here was to visit the Colca Canyon and to sort my...

Thanks Megan, I’ve been on the shelf with PAC-Safe as here in Canada they are so expensive. Enjoy Peru and eat more fruit and veg (listen to your doctor 🤣)

I love the Yorkshire patch, I’m from York originally. Spent Christmas in Beverley, it’s lovely. I don’t like tea though 😱, husband does so we always have Yorkshire tea here in Canada (he’s jealous of the biscuit tea as we can only get the normal Yorkshire tea). I miss Percy Pigs and M&S food hall. Love your videos, have now subscribed. Watching your packing I really need to up my game 🤣
@@selinasnowdon2834 you don’t like tea?! Outrageous!! Don’t worry just kidding 😅. You’ve always got to have a stock of Yorkshire tea at all times. Same with percies actually 😂. Thanks for the comment and the subscribe..I’ve got a whole playlist on my channel of packing videos 🎒
Wow you get so much in your bags. I took a 40l to Montreal for 4 days and realise I didn’t shove enough in and could have taken more. I use No Pong deodorant, it’s a cream in a tin, made by an Aussie company but I can get it here in Canada so I’m guessing you’d be able to get it in the UK, it works great and the tin is small but lasts over a month. I’m planning a trip to Europe by train next year so these videos are so useful, thank you
@@selinasnowdon2834 clamshell suitcases can pack in so much even if they’re little. That deodorant sounds good 👌🏻. Think it would still class as a liquid flying from the UK though 🫠. The salt of the earth one lasts me so long..just got back from a three month trip and used about 2/3 of the stick 😱
I enjoy traveling with a plushy companion ❤

I travelled with Ryanair in June and I wore a sleeveless vest with pockets to put all the things I would put in a everyday bag. I got it off Amazon, there are a few UA-cams on how to do it. The airlines cannot stop you as it is clothing.
Ohhhh nice one this is a good idea 💡
@@susanburke8722 I tried this while packing but I am finding the vest I have to be too big and bulky to add to my 8kg backpack after the flight. Soooo, back to the drawing board for me for those few extra kg that don’t fit in my backpack.
@@adventureswithmegan I just bit the bullet and booked priority boarding both ways. That gave me a small case for the overhead cabin. I did take a travel vest, but as you say, i took it off at my destination and put it in the case and took out a sling bag to put my personal things in. I hope you find a solution and enjoy the trip.
@@susanburke8722 yes that makes sense. Top tip if you’re flying with Ryanair it’s usually cheaper to add a carry on without the priority (it’s the step after priority and is usually about £15 to add just the case and not priority boarding or seat selection)
How much did that weigh? Most companies now have weight limits for carry ons. I'm going to Japan next year and will have to fit everything into a 32 L. 😅
@@catarixpto sorry I didn’t weigh it as Ryanair don’t weigh your bag but definitely under 10kg as I could very easily lift it. Have a great time in Japan 🇯🇵
I've found that with the exception of a few Asian budget airlines, most airlines won't actuallly weigh your carryons, and if you're wearing a backpack, 32L looks small enough on most people's frames to fly under the radar.
@@ariesmryJetstar in Australia are very keen on weighing too 🫠
I just managed to pack a 8kg bag for a 35 day trip to Europe. Whew! It was a lot of work. A 32L bag will most likely be fine for your trip. I have 35L bag and it isn’t full. I made an unlisted packing video for my friends.
