Blizzard 2020 Cleanup Time-Lapse St. John's Newfoundland
On Jan 17 2020, a Blizzard dumped over 90 CM of snow in some areas of St. John's. The snow along with 150km winds created the worst storm in decades.
Here is a Time-Lapse video of the snowfall. - ua-cam.com/video/rFyRLgXRUSs/v-deo.html

It's crazy how much blowing snow can happen!
This is when you look to your wife and say; Aren’t you glad we installed that driveway heater when we built the house. One day i said and today is that dam day!
This is why Canada is the only Commonwealth country that doesn't play cricket.
I’m from Texas, yes our state failed us but that isn’t my question. How do you maintain landscaping, flowers bushes trees. Do you have to major replant in springtime? Surely not right, I literally have no idea cause it barely snows here, once a year and even when it got bad it wasn’t this much snow.
It sucks loosing power for multiple days, we have been there as well. The big problem for you guys was the frozen pipes in residences, I assume the loss of pressure was the cause of drinking system water failure. When it comes to landscaping, sometimes I wrap my cedars so they wont get damaged by heavy snow but they are getting too big for that now. Must of the flowers I have in my garden are perennials so they grow back from the roots every year.
Lol. Damn snow plows.
Maybe someone should send some of these scenes to the cry babies in texas whos whole world is comming to an end over 4 inches of snow and minus 4 weather
It only takes one neighbor to peer pressure everyone out of their houses. 🤣🤣
B'ys even got the loader going and everything, down da bay tis not like dat, we just got a plow
You could build one hell of a snow fort out of those banks🥺🥺
So satisfying
Thanks for the video. I’m not from Newfoundland however I did live there for a couple years. This brought back fond memories. And even though all that snow. Look at that blue sky and the air is soo fresh!
Yep. That’s how I remember it in November. Only seven more months til spring.
F**K snow and winter
And I thought the 8 inches I got was alot
Well done!
This video would of been better with the king of the hill theme playing
was there a salt shortage?
It looks like one of those mini games from Mario Party. Who can clear their snow the fastest.
You can tell in the comments who don’t deal with a Canadian winter.
There have been a few silly comments for sure... "just met it" LOL
What kind of security camera is this?
Daytime was shot with a $100 action cam and the night section was captured with Samsung S8 Phone.
put the king of the hill over this next time
Тракторист практикант какойто
They were in a rush to open the roads, but they came back the day after to remove the big banks.
Imagine after all that shit it started snowing again
Is this the Canadian version of building in the clay/ mud channel?
where is this i have never seen this amount of snow

Peeping Toms at 2:20 on the right lol
Too funny.. never noticed that before.
I dont think ive ever seen that much snow here in ontario atleast where im at, thats crazy..
This is the most dad shit stuff I’ve ever seen
Nobody: Dads on a Sunday morning: Snowblower time😈
Soooo true. And I'm a Dad, so I would know. lol :)
Yeah... You couldn't pay me to live there.
This reminded me of The Sims, how everyone was clearing snow at the same time.
Why don't you just melt it?
I wouldn’t mind a snow wall between myself and my neighbor
The wall is nice. Its putting it there in the cold and wind that sucks
This is hilarious if you do the King of the Hill theme song in your head as you watch
or benny hill and if you dont know who it is google it
@@bigboots6114 yesssss
hmmm appears canadians can plow there snow without shooting each other, take notes america.
Why aren’t the roofs covered in snow?
That is a common question, so I pinned to be first in the comments. :) Simple answer tho.. hurricane force winds.
@@alltrac89 saw that after my post! No ice dams to worry about 😂
@@highcountrymaintenance3266a place called Badger Newfoundland had trouble from river ice a few years ago.. most of the town flooded.. then it all froze. :/
@@alltrac89 were at 8,500 feet here in Colorado. Basically, can’t wait until summer. Snow and ice create all of our survival and problems. Glad to have these problems just to live here.
Lawnmowers for snow. Mental.
Feels like using a snow machine would be really fun and therapeutic to watch all the snow disappear
I love how everyone has a blower
Is this much snow a regular occurrence in this town? Everyone has a snow blower and seems to know what to do with that much snow
We average over 330cm (130'') a year.. but the high winds with the snow made this storm special.
I dont have a snow blower so when were expected to get alot of snow (12" or more) I shovel every few hours during the storm so I'm only shoveling a couple inches
Here is a video of the storm... ua-cam.com/video/I9ZKDfVVLjI/v-deo.html No one was shoveling during the middle of that! :)
