Correct me if I am wrong,there are two types of nomads in Afghanistan,one who has no permanent abode and they drift around the valleys for greener pastures they are kuchis ,from the Persian word kooch meaning traveling,they are like gypsies as in many parts of Eurasia. The second have a village and permanent homes in which they spend summers,but when winters arrive they travel down into the valleys of Afghanistan and Pashtun khwa.these are numerous branches of Ghulzai tribe.interesting though that the name now anthropologist have discussed is reality Gharzai meaning the mountain dwellers,,most of Gharzai’s are known to be astute business men,and they also keep live stocks hence there kooch down the snow covered Hindukusch range come winter❤❤❤ one thing is for sure Afghans are the most resilient people on earth.❤❤❤❤
