I started playing Sea of Thieves a few months ago and LOVE the shanties they wrote. I saw that there wasn't any full covers of my favorite shanty - Maiden Voyage - and that was enough reason for me to be the first to make one. had to learn it by ear but I love some good old fashioned ear training. FernGully was a movie I liked as a kid. It's basically Pocahontas/Dances with Wolves. Anyways, the villain is this black slime tar monster named Hexxus who is voiced by Tim Curry and his introduction scene includes this song and it is perfection. I've always wanted to do a cover of this song and as you can see from my glowing smile at the end of the video I had a lot of fun.

Originally I didn't do this track because I always felt it was more of a dueling guitars part than a "solo". after listening again, really the lower guitar is a solo and the high part is a melody. you right, Dylan.

thanks! hispanic impressions has two guitars going at once so idk if I'd call it a "solo". maybe i'll go back and do it another time. EDIT: I was wondering how long it'd take someone to notice I had omitted it and it was first comment lol excellent.
