Railway people do get understandably twitchy with incidents of trespass like this. What enthusiasts fail to realise is that all it will take is just ONE incident where someone is killed, or seriously hurt, to spell the end for Mainline Steam and tough new regulations for the Preservation Societies which would likely cripple them. The biggest crime was painting a king blue. They only wore this livery for a short while under one of BR's muddleheaded attempts at standardisation and never looked right in it whereas BR express passenger Green was close enough to the original colour and looked okay. In fact to my mind the only locos that did look good in it were the A4s.
