So between video 2 and video 3 they added in an entire record type that they did not show how to configure and continued on with the tutorial as if we should just know how to config it by looking. I want to like this platform but learning it is more of a pain than actual programming because of the lack of good videos.

Takeaway: Use map() to append new row and use richtexticon for deleting rows.

Key takeaways: Performance results shows based on latest evaluated results. Performance might not cover all part of the code if we have conditional code such as if, any, choose, match etc. So need to evaluate each possible part of code to have complete optimal code. Performance % can sum up to more than 100% since Appian can execute multiple things in parallel. Unused local variables might affect the performance. Load data into variable at the required part of the code, not everything needs to be loaded at the beginning. Skip evaluations when query filter/paramter values are empty. Lets say I have two dropdown fields. The second dropdown field's values are based off of what is selected in the first dropdown. So for example: Dropdown 1 has values: (a, b, c). Dropdown 2's values will change based off of the selection of dropdown 1. So if "a" is selected, the options will be (1, 2). If "b" is selected the options will be (3, 4). Lets say I select "a" in dropdown 1, and "1" in dropdown 2. If I change the value in dropdown 1 to "b" I am getting an error because that is not one of the available options for "b". Should I use a!save to solve this?

I've been using Appian since v17. I can't believe how much easier coding has become with these ease of use features.

I've noticed in a lot of these videos the Appian experts use Design mode quite a lot. I never did that. I've been using it since version 17. Is this pretty standard practice or do you really use SAIL more?
