What tool are you use for your floor plans, if I may ask?

Does the E7 have POE+ compatibility at lower performance? Or does it only run with POE++? I am awaiting the campus switches buy might pick up some E7s before then. I have the older Enterprise POE+ 48 switch, which is only 2.5GbE POE+.

Great review, have you tested to see if EA firmware that recently dropped fixed you pentair issue?

I got 2 and they are bugged as heck. First was the IoT issues but that seemed to be solved with the latest EA release 7.0.97. Second the 6Ghz extended range won't active. Working with UI got a test firmware that allowed AFC to kick in so it will get fixed. Third is the high availability. Primary connection is to a XG6PoE at 10Gbe PoE++. Secondary is a ProMax24PoE. It prefers the secondary connection for some reason and is creating network loops wrecking havoc. STP priorities are set correctly. I haven't noticed any abnormal heat like the other commenter though.

The E7's 10GbE port (uplink) is also working on a 2.5GbE POE++ switch port

Heat is going to be a huge issue with this AP the bottom will almost burn your skin. Have my second unit sitting on a 200mm fan. First one burnt itself out and had to RMA.

Noteey actually has backlinking, although it's not obvious. Select a piece of text and click on the link icon in the context menu. Add the link of the note you want to backlink and you're done.

Subscribed, as I keep finding your videos on exactly a topic I'm looking up. I started checking out Noteey this morning. The latest release includes a journaling feature and simple check boxes for tasks, and addresses at least one of the issues you mentioned: card handles include a button to expand the card to full-screen directly from the project board. So progress has been rapid. I'm not sure what I think about projects as basically being distinct files rather than an integrated part of a complete workspace, as in Heptabase and Scrintal. The free tier is pretty generous, so I'll have to keep my eye on Noteey!

Thanks for the tutorial. Very helpful. I am a bit confused though about the IP address assignment in both cases. I want to separate the subnets of my devices so I don't run out of IP addresses. It seems like in the SSID case, the IPs are in the same subnet as the rest of network. Is that correct? Also in the case of VLAN, I use a Comcast business router. It don't think it possesses VLAN capabilities. Do I have to purchase a VLAN switch or gateway before I can use that option?

i never knew the term PKM and i was always looking for a note taking app that fills all my needs. thank you for making me understand this. Right now i have not find anything that is better than onenote (because it is simple to use) but i have been looking for an alternative that can take on all my needs. can i suggest you look at these: SiYuan, anytype and trilium maybe they are interesting to you. As a full-time developer i often have ideas i want to note down and sometimes the inspiration can come from a game, music or life event but not all of them offer a complete package with a mobile, online and desktop version. And now that i want to become a indie game developer as well, i need to be able to organize my ideas better because there is so much things you need to learn and there is so much information out there that i easily drown in it. because i cannot keep focus. what i look for is: * simple note taking, i need to be able to make a quick note within 3 seconds. Click, type, done * privacy, unless i specifically want to i do not want my data to be online * preferrably a self-hosted option, i manage my own docker server where i put all my services in and i would like my PKM to be part of it as well * hand drawing options, sometimes it is easier to just write things down * mindmap functionalities * make relations between different notes * free.... yes i am cheap i do not like paying for services that can limit access to my data. they are not in a particular order but i have been looking for something that can fill 70% of what i want and now that you gave me the correct term maybe i can find one :D Thank you!

great review and first impression. It would be nice if AFFiNE implements a reference graph like obsidian and other knowledge apps to show hierarchies and relationships between them, like a brain map.

How much better is Heptabase compared to AFFiNE? I'm not a hardcore PKM guy, I just love the Visual notetaking with linking and Notion Typing interaction. I Know Heptabase is the best right now but I'm not sure if it worth 12$/month for me.

Can you please do a review of the new DC20 table top game system? It's in Kickstarter and has garnered a lot of attention. When you manage you DND games do you organize your campaign in a pkm system like notion? It would be interesting to how you would set things up in Heptabase.

This is the best, detailed, review of Heptabase I’ve seen on UA-cam. There are many lightweight reviews of it by the Influencer channels, but your video presents as someone who has explored the tool a little deeper, and the result is more authentic. Thanks for making it because even though I’ve been testing Heptabase for a month (I paid for a month), I’m tossing up between this, Logseq (long time user) and Capacities. Your video gave me some extra things to go check out. Thank you.
