Discrete Piano (First Flash Game + READ DESC.)
The first ever Flash game has been argued all across the internet, through blogs and forums. Pico's School has also considered to be the first, being released in 1999, but that is incorrect. The oldest I have found was claimed to be a game called "Earth: 2025" created in 1995 by Tom Fulp as well. However, I have not found this game anywhere nor have I found footage of it. Plus, flash wasn't created until 1996, so how does that even make sense? It also isn't even in Tom Fulp's game library on Newgrounds. I have also found "Lasagna Heaven" released in 1996...but that's a shockwave game that ported to flash in 2004...so that doesn't count. After searching..I found a game called "Discrete Keyboard" released in 1996 by Exploratorium. It's a circular piano-like game where you can just hover over the piano piece and it plays the note. ALTHOUGH...the purpose of the Flash game isn't so much for it to be a "Game"... as it's use is to demonstrate how playing the piano in a circle to find the highest tune is impossible, as it sounds like it is constantly going up in tune, but is actually staying in the same octave. So in conclusion with that, you could play music on this Flash game, making it so it could be considered a "game", but its intentions is for demonstration purposes. So technically, the oldest flash game is "Discrete Keyboard" being released in 1996 (Until we find something that is older).

This Flash game is from 2003, and is a promotion for the T-Wrecks Hot Wheels set. The set only re-released one other time in 2007, but that would be the last time this T-Rex ever saw the light of day. So some cool things I found out is that if a car needs tires or repair, it will have a decrease in speed until the needs are met. If fuel is needed instead they just go zooming! Effect loss is the same.
