    Where's the "Rainstorm?" It's a heavy SPRINKLE! lol.....and where was the "OVERNIGHT?" What'd you do, film the opening, then went home, and come back, recording as if overnight? I've had to "Camp" for days in LOT worse conditions in the Army....

    DUDE! Where has this knot been my WHOLE LIFE?!! I went to work and immediatly re-rigged my DIY drywall stilts. I'd been having issues with differant prototype bindings coming loose or not getting tight at all and as soon as i re-rigged this am i could play soccor in these things... WooooHooooo! Thank You! Not to mention i have been a hardcore outdoorsman for over 50 years and this just became my Go-To rig.

    Great video! I found it while looking for ideas on small tarp shelters that don't require the fire to be exposed to rain. I had no idea that Croatian climate was that varied. I'm in coastal British Columbia, Canada and your video looked like it could have been up one of our rainy fjords! You commented on looking around and wanting to be able to hear. I don't like hoods for that reason. They either get wet or block your hearing. We don't have grizzlies on Vancouver Island where I live, but on the mainland coast we do. But I want to hear everything anyway, even close to home. Birds, water, wind . . . 🙂

    When you are worried about high wind, dig a Dakota fire hole. No shovel, just use a stick with a wedge cut.

    You might want to hold the wood your chopping with a small stick instead of your thumb or hand. Doesn't hurt as much if you miss and hit the stick.

    I use a system very close to what you created at home. However, I put my tarp in a bishop bag rather than a compression sack. The bishop bag is open at both ends and never leaves the ridge line once it is set up.
