Thanks Kev. The Tumbler is now becoming a mix of matt-black angular surfaces with shadows and I think the rest of this particular build would benefit from extra multi-source lighting.

I broke the 11D part (crank case ventilation connector) I had to glue it

They printed my Shipping label on 9/18 but nothing has changed since. Here's hoping pack 3 will arrive soon.

No way to get items to New Zealand without an already ridiculous price becoming so bloated its completely unaffordable... $100nzd per issue seriously?.. XL's will be well over $200nzd. And i thought things were already bad with eaglemoss at $100 to $130nzd for XL's. Gonna be a hard pass from me sadly.

Nice job Kevin & Kirsty .. right thing to group those three issues together .. those little nuts looked a right fiddle to do! I must admit I really like this 66 Batmobile build compared to the Tumbler, but I think that probably relates more to my age; being a child age 9 in 1966 .. loved the series & the car. I also had the original Corgi version before they altered the jet pipe to accommodate a hook for a trailer (for the Bat Boat?). Sadly I sold that model and a whole load of others in 2001 to help pay for my wedding.. that didn’t go too well either as I got divorced in 2013! Look forward to the next issues.

I’m still waiting on my second pack. Delivery has been slow here in America again

Great video kev, I've tried putting the top of the roof in place with the side members, it'll give you a rough idea how wide the tumbler is going to be....massive, stay safe mate 👍

All the best in your journey, TT120 is a great scale. I must say you were a brave man running it so close to the edge of the table. I would suggest making a frame out of pine and using ply instead of mdf.

I'm all for ssomebody reviving the die cast models, but I have to wonder if they're not going to run into the same issues Disney has with their Disney Star Wars toy line... I KNOW that I myself would definitely be willing to pay for the classic ships if they came back again. Much more hesitant about the Kurtzman stuff, even though none of that is really the designers' fault. We'll see.

I had a couple of concerns when I saw the close up promo shots. If you look close on the neck of the Titan you can see dust attached. If this is under the paint this is a worry. The deflector is molded in blue plastic, which is fine, but it is a square piece that isn’t coloured grey in places it should be. This is okay on a sub £30 model or sculpt but not if it’s’ double that price. The detailing looks very soft and rounded too. Again not a problem if the price is right but when there are 3d prints that are sharper and half that price… it means the unlicensed, garage industry (knock offs) are both beating them on some of the quality and undercutting on price😬 That paint effect for the hull is weird. Why paint flecks? The Eaglemoss ones were sometimes superb (occasionally not) but this looks like one of the weaker ones. Stargazer does look a lot better and probably should have been the first one released.

Most companies also make profit off of postage so I would be surprised if they would combine them. Plus it's probably extra hassle for not making more money. 😏

My only interest is the Enterprise F. If I can sneak in and subscribe for 1 month and save a few bucks, I will do that. If not, I'll wait for reviews. Make sure it's worth the price. I found the Eaglemoss ones to be overpriced for what you get. (I bought all the Micromachine ones I could find; they weren't great quality but the price was great.) So I really have no interest in buying all of these. Especially if the majority is going to be Kurtzman Trek. 🤢

I'm not really feeling the Picard ships.... well The Enterprise D XL, perhaps. WOuld love to see the XL Enterprise E return, as well as the U.S.S. Defiant.
