I used Dancing Steel to max out the stagger bonus there which doesn’t damage in the first place. Diamond Dust does a bit and had to be used there to line up all the cooldowns and have Lightning Rod, Dancing Steel and Gigaflare up to be used again in the same stagger. I think I had the Lightning Rod accessory here but other builds or the newly released cooldown accessories free up other rotations. Locking Lightning Rod with Dancing Steel doesn’t matter much as long as you can get 5 Zantetsuken stacks (DS has wide hitboxes). Lightning Rod has a maximum trigger rate in its 30 seconds duration so hitting it more/faster doesn’t lead to more damage unless it’s to raise stagger bonus at the start.

Also, thank you for showcasing the power of Fleeting Familiar, it may not do too much damage but on a per ATB basis it does more than any other weapon skills spread out over its duration. On top of that, it summoning more when using offensive ATB stuff that deal more damage, and can launch and cheese bosses seen in your Weiss fight and also Bahamut in another FF7R challenge video. Tempest shifting to hold square and it fully charged to summon a familiar will make it such a bigger part of Aerith's kit but I bet the launch effect will be nerfed. The new triangle ability ward shift saving her the trouble of walking back and adding utility for dodging is huge as well.

@@internetexplorerpony I liked using Refocus a lot on Remake cause imo one more tab bar > damage. You’ll do a lot more damage over the time with one more atb bar. We’ll see how it is in Rebirth having the effect moved to synergy abilities. Fleeting Familiar was indeed very useful in Remake with it having a really good pressure potential (one of the highest actually) but I liked the change of it having moved to Aerith’s base kit, hopefully it’s still as strong. Her new Ward Shift is definitely gonna be really good.

@@niko_nt9235 I am excited for what you and others can cook up in Rebirth. Refocus still exists in materia form and it is obtainable in chap 1 demo. The group focus is another new effect.

@@HwL01 does Aerith parry have invulnerability frames? I play with tifa and you cannot parry slide to avoid. You can only somersault over his head.

Yeah I thought that too cause I wasn’t able to stop Magaflare with Aerith, tried everything and at the end Sorcerous Storm x2 did the trick. Other than that, should focus on avoiding and not being interrupted while casting by the 3 whispers cause Magnify + Arcane Ward deal with them pretty easily.

hell house can be challenging especially on hard mode. its phases it goes threw can be very confusing.i had to type them out on a text doc to keep them straight.

you would think so but the way the game actually works encourages 1 person fights, the other 2 wont do much unless you control em and they also take damage and have to be healed, so it doesnt matter that much if u only play with 1 instead 3 IF u play well.... the unactive members will also only slowly build up ATB, the point is so switch members based on your needd and if u need only aerith, that works as well

It is rift slip first for animation cancelling into cold snap right away to freeze them and stop the stagger bar. Should be ability X > Rift Slip > Cold Snap > ability Y If you can cycle it with your abilities and keep doing it you can extend the stagger bar by a lot. Using ultimate abilities helps a lot cause they slow/stop time too.

How does your Dancing Blades fill entire Zan meter? Mine leaves me around lvl 4.

@@Anakin1b you either equip the dancing steel accessory that fills the Zantetsuken bar faster, or use the Thunder Rod skill beforehand (like I did here)

Kidna late answer, but I believe they are the Tempest attack, just tapped when you charge it, you get the crystal that explodes after some time, if you tap it, you just send some orbs
