The Ninth Gate - How Corso Wins - Part 1
I got one, not crazy about the color. I would have much preferred the white with a pearloid pickguard, but that model didn't have the Sustainiac. But I got it regardless.
They had me at Sustainiac lol
@@image30p Me Too !!!😆😆😆
Yes, Radu is my favorite vampire as well. He creeped me out so much when I was a kid watching the Subspecies movies for the first time. He's so cool and interesting.
Yes, it's a very compelling vampire. Really fun ☺
She stole the movie.
I wonder if this has an association with the ninth circle. Possibly a disclosure remember, they have to show signs.
Thanks from here in the UK..........An old guy returning to the electro music scene after a long hiatus....At least I now know how to go through all the presets.
I'm glad it was helpful! Also glad you're back!
I think she’s meant to be LCF herself (who says the Devil has to be male)? She guides Corso through all nine gates because he is her Chosen One, not the arrogant Boris Balkan.
hm... ??? 😃
Shortly after Corso first contempates the signature "LCF", he meets the girl in the corridor and asks her name. Answer: "GUESS!" When Balkan is rambling about how "the Master" will never appear to the Satanist coven because they are just buffoons, the camera cuts to the Girl who is watching from the balcony. Her smile seems ironic. So maybe the Master has indeed appeared, just in a form neither Balkan nor the others could recognize. According to the script, the Girl would at one point be seen reading a book called "The Devil in Love", which is interesting given her seeming affections for Corso, but Polanski apparently decided that this was too in-your-face and instead gave her the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People."
Yes. She is Lucifer, Satan.
An added character that never existed in the book as it was written, because the girl in the book was not a witch or an angel, or a demonic character in the end, and whom got the part because it was the director's wife...
Emanuelle definitely got that role being married to Roman
In the book the girl is the Devil himself. Or a hallucination created by the Devil. So Corso opens the nine gates of Hell.
I don't think she's the Harlot but a NPC in a game that gets started by his journey through the 9 gates.
Very interesting!
They all have the same book but you can’t tell which one is the original. A theme that is repeated over and over and why you are doing sequels. Why use old code for something new? It’s Pierre’s concept of Me-too, knowing the girls would fight.
thank you!
no problem!
Nice. Short. Impressive. This is not a synth. In a synth, you first look for a single cycle saw, square, sine, triangle wave. Here we have a Rompler. Here we look for a variety of samples from different instruments, pianos, organs, flutes, drums and so on. And how to "connect" them in layers and in "time", which is the outstanding feature here. Like a microscopic DJ.
Aha! A rompler! I love that name. Thank you for the information!
I’m waiting for the Simi Valley model
Is that a thing? Interesting!
I love this Harry Charm Break down video.... good job! AngelHeart4Life!
Thanks, man! (I love this movie too!) 🙂
@@image30p it’s one of my all time favs! Im from Louisiana and I’m a big horror freak too
I love the color of that guitar. It sounds great too. 🤘🏼
Me too! Thanks!
I am so sorry to hear that you lost all of your guitars. This is a pretty awesome looking guitar. Thanks for the demo!
Thank you, brother! 🙂
Thank you very much!
My pleasure!
Radu is a very cool vampire but like kurt barlow from 79 both were taken from count orlok 1922 ,then we have vampire monsters like marcus from underworld 2, but my best ever is count dracula from prince of darkness 1966
Nice! 😁
Thank you sir, are yoh able to provide a video on your occult experience?
My pleasure, sir. It's possible 🙂
Thank you an excellent trio of analysis on a movie that touches me so much.
Thank you for your kind words
Thank you, help was needed to be able to acces the Multi-samples
My pleasure, Delphinixa
Yeah, seems cool..I recently told someone to ditch one of those clip on tuners saying “this is useless, for a Gibson Les Paul you need a plug in tuner” One thing, you didn’t say the price..
Thanks for watching and pointing that out! $99.99 <<< I'll put it in the description
Its a long term investment, this will last you a long time , it’s quality . I always say if going buy the top of the range quality guitar/ bass etc. you gotta buy the best amp, leads and tuner too. Great review , I’m gonna pass this info on. All the best from London, England 🎸🎸
$100 bucks. A little pricier than what I wanted to pay, but I do play a lot of gigs, and I have had tuners snap while in the case or die the day of a gig, even just getting lost as I move around more. For the same price as those I could’ve just bought one real tuner that doesn’t need batteries and won’t get lost. If you want to be a serious player, invest in serious gear.
Bullcrap! No 8 yr old would get that. More like the Monkeys or Archie’s
I first and arguably the best.
I agree!
When i was 12 i bought NO SLEEP TILL HAMMERSMITH i havent looked back since im 55 now

Awesome video! Love the images you chose, they illustrate the story so well. Very interesting. Great video story highlighting a great album.
@@ElizabethFaubert Thank you very much for your kind words. "Back in black, I hit the sack I've been too long, I'm glad to be back" lol
Cool video man. As a Sabbath fan, I enjoyed that. 👍
Yeah, it's a shame that Radu is somewhat underrated, as much as I like Bloodrise, I really wanted some new one liners from him, although the cinematography is really good in that one.
His one liners have always been devastating.
Thanks a lot
Happy to help
Very helpful.. thanks
Glad it helped!
hahahaha
Yessss
but his downfall was human love ewwww and to me human love is irrelevant
Yes haha
I agree with you 100%, these movies blew my mind when I first saw them back in the day, Radu is a true vampire, a freakin savage 🧛🦇...
Savage! Yes!
I just discovered this process by chance recently so it's nice to see it explained thanks.Owning and playing synths etc is a bit like being a gardener - if you don't plant some seeds you won't see the flowers !
Very true my friend!
Clear and straight to the point. So helpful. Thank you!
I'm glad it was useful for you! 🙂
Thank you very much, you have helped me a lot ! 🙏👍

Wow you fkn goon
" Don't get Saucy with me Bernaise".....The brilliant mind of Mel.😂
There it is!😂
Ok, good explanation of probability feature for lane steps but what is the point? I can't think of a musical reason to include this in a song or work. Most musical works rely on variation yes but not for a single note of a groove sequence. Those usually need to be consistent. Maybe someone will use it I don't think I ever will.
Thanks for commenting!
It’s the most Al Pacino-est Performance ever.
Heat also
Count da money…De Monet, De Monet!
😂
Every family lawyer I've ever met
😁
This movie was doing so well up until the goofy visual effects after Kevin's suicide. It's a shame that after Satan's reveal of who he truly was and what he truly wanted (a brilliant performance by Al Pacino), the special effects and face transitions are so bad that completely threw me off the vibe. I was so invested in the film up until that point. I would understand if it was a 1970s film, but computer technology was already there in 1997.
Thanks for checking out the video and the input!
It was so close, right? The movie Dogma was a better try at something like this.
40:years for me to get the Saucy/Bernaise reference. Hilarious. And the. That ‘wink’ from DeMonet followed by the mouthing of beetach.
Just got it too ;)
love your analysis of the movie, one of my favorite movies, I must have seen this movies at least 10 times, i never noticed the statue on the desk with the nose, or him with the tongue snake thing, lol "Call me dad" 😂😂
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Some great lines in there! 😄
Its a crime ive never heard of Radu until now. Ill need to find these films now.
I jealous! You get to see them for the first time 😀
I saw the 4 films and am excited to watch the 5th (prequel). The series isn't perfect but it does absolutely beg for a remake!@@image30p
Thanks for posting this. As always, much appreciated, but it seems like a long walk around the barn to get at a name change. If it's hooked up with USB to a computer, can this type of info be typed in with the computer keyboard?
Thank you for checking out the video. I'm not sure. Maybe. Because I have not been able to integrate my Wavestate with my desktop. So it's certainly worth a try. I agree that it's kind of frustrating being used to a keyboard and then having to use buttons.
Thanks for posting, very clear, step by step explanation. Just got my Wavestate, of course there's a learning curve (as with all synths) but this one is particularly labyrinthian in its myriad selection menus, submenus and processes . . . but well worth the effort.
Ah thanks so much! I'm glad it was useful. The Wavestate is kind labyrinthian (great word 😂). But it won't be long before you're zooming all over the place. ❤
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ha ancient gods were nephilem and taught humans only bad things
I love your review🤣
Thank you! 😂
having said that Morbius is the best Morbius ever
Morbius is awesome no question
This is actually the first I've heard about the Subspecies films. I'll def check it out. Great summary!
😃Thanks! A friend of mine told me about it. It's a really fun series!
