This is pretty good - He is a great arranger. His arrangements show some loyalty to the original (unlike Bob Dylan.) Always has great bands.

Like "Crazy Jane on God" ~ "For Mr Thomas" is also on the "A Sense of Blue" vinyl boot ~ both recorded live in early/mid-1980s. That live version of "Thomas" is a killer blues version. This one is more like a recital.

First heard this number from a vinyl boot; "A Sense of Blue". That version is still the best one I've ever heard, but this was right up there, too. Great song.
