I remember back in the 1980's drinking Schlitz's malt liquor in tall cans that I think were sold in a 4 pack with a blue bull on the can. After a couple of those tall boy drinks you felt it. Good times back in the day!

I'm guessing a lot of us older collectors are in the same boat. We have this hobby, obsession and collection that has taken us decades to build up. We come to the crossroad of old age and what to do with our collections.

Awww so it sat in boxes for 27 years (that's not enjoyment), it would had been nice for Brad to enjoy a couple of his signs in a nice finished basement. Reminds me I destroyed a beer can collection 4 years ago ($52 in scrap metal), though hung on to a few favorites, possible art/display projects & my few signs.

I'm Brad's brother-in-law Rick and can tell you just how much this collection meant to him and how hard it was for him to ultimately decide to sell it and let others enjoy the pieces he's had for decades. This video will be a precious memory for Brad to refer back to whenever he wants to reminisce. Unfortunately, we all age and can't hold on to everything forever. Whoever acquires any of these pieces will be very happy.

Ive never been much of a drinker but back in the mid 70s I owned a liquor store and started collecting beer patches. I have over 1000.

I just found your channel and really enjoy your content. I have a Vintage Rheingold Extra Dry Lager Beer Lighted Sign. Sign has flashing lights and is probably from the 1970s. Approximate size is 20" X 3" X 13 1/2" and it’s in excellent condition. I’m looking to sell it. Any chance you could tell me the approximate value. Thanks so much.

How Kool is that, Hamm's , enjoyed plenty of that in my younger years growing up in the PNW , used to enjoy Olympia Beer also. 💯%Cool

I worked for a Schlitz wholesaler in the early to mid 70s and of course we sold Old Mil , very popular at the time and mostly returnable bottles and some bars had it on tap . Sometimes we had to wait until the semi came in so we could load our trucks which were box trucks and not pallet trucks , very labor intensive. The deal was if you bought 200 cases of returnables you got 12 free and it’s amazing how many grocery and liquor stores bought it that way . K mart was a good example , they would buy the deal on Monday , pile their front window full and then again Friday for the weekend . Not sure what the price was but probably a couple bucks a case . I can also remember selling 6 pack NR bottles for 69 or 79 cents a 6 pack . Aaah the good old days

It's obvious, but it's only worth what someone will pay. I think it's a high water mark right now. The economy has a lot to do with the value, and we are heading for a rough time. Prices will come down.
