everyday I plan on cross-stitching for 1 hour then knit....😅......hasn't worked since I would have to drag out so many tools for cross-stitching. You're right it's easier to grab knitting. Sorry no idea here.Hoping someone will have a good suggestion in comments.

The Micheal’s in my area only has one isle of yarn to. There is also no new yarn in our store either. Not sure what’s going on ??? Sounds like it’s like that across the country. Very sad cause I really love there yarns.😊

My Michael’s doesn’t have any of the new Caron yarn or Anniversary cakes. I’m going in another one today so fingers crossed 😁

Okay, I just found your channel and I'm baffled. I had to check when you uploaded this - 5 days ago? - yet some of the Caron yarn you're showing is absolutely last year's collection or even older. Like that "Colorama Halo" yarn, I bought a couple of cakes in that Skylight Frost color you showed months and months ago from Walmart when it was no longer a Michael's exclusive. They are classified as a 6 weight. Those Anniversary cakes are also old colors, they are on the Yarnspirations site as discontinued. Meanwhile, the new Caron ombre cakes are similar-but-different colors (e.g. there's a teal and a blue, but neither match the more muted Skylight Frost), are under the "Cloud Cakes" line, and are classified as a 4 weight. (I honestly think they're closer to a 3 weight, they're classified as a 4 because of the halo, I think.) Only the Spice Cakes you found match what is in-store right now. (You can see the "new" in the upper left-hand corner, that's not on the other ones.) I checked both the American and the Canadian versions of the Michael's website, as well as my [Canadian] app, and totally can't find the pages you're on, or the yarn you're showing listed on the site. I have no idea how you got to the listings you did for old yarn. Are you using the American app? Maybe if you're signed in with your preferred store set, your app is showing old listings that haven't been removed because your store's inventory is out of date?

I crochet, only blankets. I have used Cinnamon Swirl cakes and I have found I like them in corner to corner designs.
