Are you in drop D? I'm having trouble matching what I see to what I hear in the chorus riff!
I play it in E standard. You have to imagine playing a 7 string guitar in drop A but without the low A string. This creates an uncommon chord that sounds lower than a normal powerchord that you can make in E standard.
@@robtheedgelord Thanks... so youre playing just double stops in fourths without the low root note of the power chord? Like instead of 0-2-2 as an E power cord, you're just doing the 2-2? Or would you mind sharing a quick tab on that chorus riff starting around :57?
I think I see now... so you're playing the 5th and the octave of the power chord without the low root note since you don't have a 7th string.

@@robtheedgelord I gotta ask now... how did you manage to hear all those chords in the chorus? I'm usually pretty good at figuring things out by ear, but that riff was really hard beacause it was drowned in the mix under the vocals and everything else... In the beginning I only thought it was a F# E D, not even hitting the C#s or Bs you hit.
