Blue Line Aviation, LLC was founded in August of 2012 by a husband and wife team, Trey and Kelsey Walters. They started with one goal: to provide the highest quality flight instruction for your dollar.
Blue Line Aviation, a veteran-owned-and-operated business, was built on the belief that the best way to enjoy the miracle of flight is being a safe, confident pilot. By challenging our students with rigorous, comprehensive training programs, we are building a passionate community of expert aviators. The team at Blue Line Aviation strives to ensure each student feels appreciated and is provided the best environment to accomplish their aviation goals.
The company has two locations in Raleigh, NC: Raleigh International Airport KRDU, and the Professional Pilot Training Center in Morrisville, NC. Construction has begun on the new $16-million, 50,000-square-foot Blue Line Headquarters at Johnston Regional Airport (KJNX) with plans to move in 2021.

That's cold!!!!! Damn!
Only on 4th of July, can Pepto-Bismol be gear
Yep 😅
Bro leave me alone injust randomly scrolled to this i don't even watch it
My guy I’m starting flight school in a month 😂
I've seen some community colleges with aviation programs too. A 2 year associates degree program. For me that doesn't sound too bad so I could use my G.I Bill and have the school paid for.
Absolutely! There are several options available, especially if you want to use your GI Bill. Most pilots aiming for a degree typically go for a bachelor's degree, which is more applicable to their future. This video explains the fastest way to become a pilot, allowing you to get paid sooner, build seniority sooner, and reach the majors sooner. Some of our students are veterans who went through our program, then pursued college while instructing, and used their GI Bill for that schooling. This approach lets them build flight hours, gain significantly more experience compared to the college-first route, get paid as pilots, and complete their degrees covered by the GI Bill. When you join an aviation college program, you're technically in flight school, but you get much less training exposure compared to someone who starts with full-time flight school. This is because the training is spread over four years (or two years for an associate's degree), rather than a 5.5-month intensive period. In that same two-year period, someone who chose flight school first will have graduated with seven certificates/ratings, built up to 1500 hours, and already moved on to the airlines. There are definitely routes to take where it is initially cheaper, but when you start to consider opportunity cost and/or ROI, it actually will cost you more at the end with less pay, experience, and seniority on the same timeline as someone who chose to go to flight school first.
On my brother Jk the grass field or a road
I am in flight school tho
RUDE
😐😔
Not me waving at them...😂❤
I feel slightly offended but you aint wrong
You talking Sh......
actually funny
Loser
I have a plane! We need it for our property (rural Australia) to get across quickly. I watch this stuff because I like it, and I don’t do too many ‘proper’ landings given everything is flat, so we’ve just cleared areas to land and you can land any direction.
I'd love to, i used to but scuba is my hobby now, ridiculously expensive and alien beyond belief but the fish are pretty neat
Well the smart ones become mechanics since it takes 2 yrs to get your A&P, but 6 months to get all of your pilot tickets
I am just poor, mind your own business
Hah I’m in school for it
Im under age but my uncle migght theach me some day
As someone that’s working on their IR, I shifted the phone away 🤣
its a bit on the expensive side for me. I wish. My mother cleans my local private airport and she keeps telling me to go into aviation like some kid she knows that works there
I’m scared of heights lol I’d like to fly a A-10 tho cuz funny brrrrtrt
We’d recommend doing a discovery flight! You’d be surprised how many pilots have a fear of heights, but flying doesn’t affect them in the same way.
Im legally unable too
Same here amigo. I think I can still get a sport liscence tho, so I’m def gonna check that out.
Great video!
Thank you!
Easier to not die by watching other people do it lmao
You are more likely to get in a car accident…
Very clever ... and accurate! 😅
😂😂
I’m trying smh
Got my student’s, just got more training and studying to do! Eventually ill get there 🫡
Make sure to enjoy every step of the way!
Simple answer, “The grass” You would want to land in the grass because the trees have no clear spots nor the traffic which would be very dangerous to make them clear so you can land in a short amount of time.
Surly if cars saw a plane trying to land on the interstate they would stop
The medium or the off ramp to right
The grass probably
Question: Can i still become a pilot without perfect 20/20 vision. I have around 20/60 vision is there something i could do like simply wear glasses while im flying?
You do not need perfect eye sight! We recommend you reach out to a local AME (Aviation Medical Examiner) or talk with AOPA's medical department and they can give you specific guidance for what you're asking!
All three are incredible pilots. Congratulations 🎉
get your ppl ir or multiengine first then go to college for your degree !
This is good guidance, and we deep dive this exact path in this video 😎
Good job, Ryan !
He did great!
what if i graduate highschool at 17? do i still have to wait till im 18?
You could start private and instrument at 17, but you would need to turn 18 before you start commercial training!
Looks so cool!
When I learn to fly, will I learn about all the engine components?
Yes!
What a stud 🎉
There's the bro!!
The one on the right looked more stable, so it gets my vote
The right. Only because the left was slightly slightly SLIGHTLY off to the right of centerline. But got it back on instantly after touch down. Both landings were pretty much perfect
👏👏
What plane is that?
Both are in the Diamond DA40
Safely , great job.
GM, Andy found you on UA-cam and I’m glad I did. I’m 67 retired middle school principal and have always dreamed of becoming a pilot, but for various reasons it has never materialized, but I’m not one to give up. I have enjoyed watching your videos and I’m considering the Blue line program. What sort of preparation should a person have before starting this accelerated program. I’m only looking to acquire a commercial rating. Do you think that Blue line can accommodate someone that just wants to achieve from zero to commercial rating given my age. I do hold a third class medical.
We believe Andy has already responded to your comment elsewhere, but to chime in... We always recommend connecting with our Training Advisors for guidance on being prepared for a program as accelerated as ours. Some of the things we recommend is reading the PHAK, and completing as many written exams as possible before your start date (the written exams we are speaking of are PAR, IRA, CAX, CFI, FOI and FIA). You won't be able to pursue the airlines, but there are plenty of other career options, which our training advisors can guide you through!
