@@robertvancelit's stainless with an acrylic top. It has nine holes in it. Also comes with a hammer with a brass and a hard plastic head. The two aligning pins sometimes get in the way.

Rob, firstly I’m so sorry for the loss of your dear wife. Heartbreaking doesn’t come close, but she sounds an awesome lady 😍😍😍 I’ve had to get back into modelling for medical reasons as I can no longer work and my doctor was worried I was loosing my mind… I didn’t have the heart to tell him I lost that years ago 🤣🤣🤣 but I also started up RC again, restoring old beat up banger’s, getting them running on an extremely tight budget has been hard but I’ve had some help on eBay 🙏🙏🙏 I work from a tiny corner of my bedroom and I have dreamed of having a shed/cave like yours so you are living not only your dream but mine to 🤩🤩🤩 thanks for sharing your wonderful journey with us, apart from the 3D printer problem 😔😔😔 I’d love to get one to but it’d have to be literally idiot proof so a few years off I think 😅😅😅 anyway enjoy your journey Rob and I wish you all the very best for the future, Kenny 🙏🤞😎🤩😍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hi. What if you need say 300 rivet heads ? Your going to spend a long time hammering. Very exspensive tool that needs to be used a lot to justify the cost. I have thought about buying one of these for a long time but there just to much money for me. Regards

There’s a brand called RP Toolz from Hungary that are available in the UK that produce a similar range albeit with more sizes in each set. Not sure if they’re available over the pond but can’t see why not….🤔 They do Hex, rivets and circles ranging in size from 0.5mm through to 4.5mm (apologies but not sure of Imperial sizes) They are expensive but got to be honest they add a whole new dimension to your models. Best Regards Gary

Hey Rob... lay that light down on a table. Put a strip of masking tape over the holes on the backside, and push INTO the holes, so it leaves a puncture for where the holes are. Pull that tape off carefully, and reapply it to where you want the mount the light - presto. Easy way to quickly locate the holes. use painter's tape if you have a concern about any damage to the final destination (although honestly, you could just as easily have put that tape up.. .and LEFT it there, since the light fixture will cover it up when mounted. :)

Years ago, I was in my office on the phone with a client leaning back nicely when the chair snapped. It was a four or five legged deal on casters, nice high back office chair. I landed in the chair, on my back, and as I held the receiver, I continued my conversation with the client while lying in the chair on the floor, as though nothing had happened. I was laying in the chair, on my back, on the floor, face up. When I was done, I rolled out of it onto the floor and got up. After that I never trusted any office chair, and always tried to buy one with a lifetime guarantee. It happened again with a second chair and they sent new parts, that chair is gone now. The current chair will no doubt fail as well. Ever since they went to the five leg kind chairs got cheaper, but the 5 legs are much much safer than four. We had some old steel ones with wooden wheels for casters and they outlasted that business, which was 47 years. They made stuff to last. All the legs on that were steel. So, make sure you have a soft landing spot. Best wishes!
