As long as MM is kept within limits, the same rules everyone races under, then he is no overwhelming favorite. There is a clear reason as to how MM was gifted 8 titles while riding Honda. Spain did not have an Agostini or Rossi (Itallian). While Rossi was still racing, MM was with HRC whose race ops are based in Spain, DORNA is Spanish and MM makes the trifecta. Spanish DORNA looks the other way so Spain’s HRC can run beyond electronics, he gets special rubber and a few other perks. When the electronics inopped during a race, crash! Rossi retires, the beyond electronics are retracted and so goes MM abilities.

The riders Rossi faced were as good as Marquez faced but the bikes were a lot closer to each other when Marquez arrived. They all had the same tyres and soon after control ECU's, there were also limits on the number of engines where in Rossi's day it was anything goes giving factory teams a larger advantage.

Stop hating on KTM. Having a team in MotoGP has reached a price point that is not sustainable anymore. It used to be a testing ground for the trickle down effect, so the R&D could be passed on to street bikes so they could be improved, which in turn would boost sport bike sales and club racing. MotoGP will soon price itself out of existence, IMO. Technology has reached its plateau for the sport.

Jack Miller Is a Super Talent, BUT, I think he needs to adopt the Mick Doohan secret weapon stratergy, Start with a very Hard Rear Tyer, and be prepand to slowly cook it, by about mid race Itll be ready to really PUSH, Idealy you want lap times to Improve towards the second half of every race, and hopfully, Yamaha can make some serious Engine Improvements for Jack..
