The D6 rips right out of the box. Should have got used to it in the stock form and changed as you improve. But I see some improvements on your driving.

Never been rc drifting before though just order the D6GA with idler gear and building an LP86 along with my son. Is drift Essex welcoming to beginners only I don’t live far from there? I follow with great interest- thank you

You’re not tuned and dialed in right for the track layout and your drive style. The D6 is a great and awesome platform but its sad you deleted the active rear toe when that is 1 of the key 🔑 factor in having that perform and drift at its upmost capability especially when it comes to speed, transition, and hitting each bench mark accurately & with precision.

Have you ever thought about those 3D printed GPS holders? They come in bright colors so you can find the GPS easily. But the strap usually keeps it secured to the rig.

What kind of pinon and center diff gear size are you using. I’m still new to all this and I order the same combo for my infraction 1/7 scale. I know realize lower kv slower rotations but more power. On my 12s battery set up should I be running like 30-40 tooth pinon and 15-20 on my spur? Would I still get the same bashing strength if it’s reversed as a high kv small pinon gear without the excessive heat or will it just make it slow acceleration but high speed runs? I see at the end you plan on using a 44tooth

Seems pretty tough terrain for the crawler most of the time. For my taste even bit too rough and abusing to still enjoy driving with skill, mostly power based course. Enjoyed watching anyway. Wish you lots of fun together
