All of the sound is coming from the reed vibrating around creating a small air friction when the lip keeps it from bouncing back up. I used to play, you have to keep that reed nice warm and moist and exactly aligned to the tip of the mouthpiece.
@@sethwallace4321 When you put the reed in your mouth before playing, just make sure you are hydrating the inner side enough. Most new players hold their tongue to the lip side but that's not effective and is more prone to squeaking on octave changes. You will be even better than Kenny G, I promise!
