Which HAL ship were you on? I’ve been cruising with them for a long time, but getting priced out, I’m solo I’ve had a similar cruise booked with NCL DuBai, AbuDabi, Jordan, Israel Egypt, Suez Canal and Greece Was canceled 3 times because of covid and now on hold again because of the Israel stuff But thanks for sharing

All I can say is join the crowd when it comes to catching Covid on a cruise. My December cruise I caught what felt like a cold and didn’t realize I caught Covid after getting home and testing myself. I know of other friends who have also contacted this virus during or close to the end of their cruise.

I agree with you; the time in Victoria is way too short. They changed our itinerary for our upcoming cruise on the Ruby - we are doing Prince Rupert instead of Victoria. Looks like you had a good time.

WOW, we had a wonderful experience by the end of May. We had a rough start, ship came in late and embarkation was a mess, took 2.5 hr to board. Didn't set sail till 6pm and the ship ended up missing port and switching itinerary. But that's Alaska and it worked out really well for us. We had sunny skies the entire time in Alaska and very comfortably warm in the high 50s and mid 60s. We saw whales not once but twice and the second time it was so close I can clearly see the markings on the tail fin. Food was ok and the buffet really need some work but the program was great. We had so much fun and I feel like I need more at sea day cause I didn't have enough time to do all the things I want to do.

Thanks for “taking us” on the suspension bridge. I have such a fear of heights…glad I can sit in my easy chair and enjoy the views😊

I worked in the princess cruises 10years ago. Iam thai guy.

Took the Caribbean Princess a month later and it was about packed. Western Caribbean cruise. Had a great time. But do advise to watch related videos to your tour, it will have you better prepared than we were. Not bad, but we could have done more had we known.
