Dutch American singer/songwriter Rose Spearman will be releasing her upcoming solo album ‘King of Air on November 3rd, 2023.
King of Air is about the roots of Rose's grandmother, who was Jewish and fled to NY with her family as a German immigrant. Her grandfather who was a young African American opera singer in NY, how they eventually fell in love, and where Rose's father as a Jewish African American man originated from.
Her roots, her father's past, the family secrets, the disappointments, the hope and love, the farewell, and the race issues are the themes that Rose captures on her new album 'King of Air' in a personal and honest way.
