nice build. What gauge of wire did you use?
Thanks so much! And I used 2.5mm or 14 gauge galvanised wire.
that Cryobi stuff struggles with the simplest tasks 😂
Awesome build, well done!!
Ok, now that you've bolted the base, how do you access your spare tyre?
The spare tyre is accessed from underneath the car, the base has no impact on the operation or access of anything in the rear of the car. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Very nicely done mate. Can i ask what the cost was with the wood and the slides?
Thanks mate, all in as you see it in the video, set me back about $700 AUD. Slides were $200 for all 3 from VEVOR, wood about $250, carpet $200 and carpet adhesive, wood glue and screws $50. All prices in AUD$.
Great build and awesome videos.
Thanks @ohmbre300, appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. I am just finishing up filming on the next stage of this build where I am making single-handed operation handles for the drawers and wings for the sides. Stay tuned for that release too!

Depending on where you are in the world 🌎
@@theprojectbuild haha good one. You 'draw' a picture of your 'drawers' regardless of where you live 😉
Can't get anything by you can I 😅
@@theprojectbuildall good bro I'm just being a dick. You've given me some good ideas.... especially the false floor I like it a lot 👍
Great craftsmanship, thank you for sharing. Question/comment- it appears you need two hands to open the drawer with the glide fasteners, will you be able to effectively incorporate any type of handle(s). My first thought was two eye bolts near the tabs. Look forward to seeing the final product as it is already an excellent design/build.
Thanks for watching! And yes I am currently in designing a single handed operation system for these type of draw slides by riveting or bolting on an Aluminium box section or bar between the two existing tabs, will have a bit more of a design to make it ergonomic but thats the main idea anyway!
Hey mate. What size ply did you use? Do you have a video of the fridge slide and table? Great video btw! Very informative and quality work. Keep it up
Hi, I used 17mm form ply for the false floor and 12mm ply for everything else (fridge slide, draw, etc.) Hope that helps. And unfortunately I don't have the video's for the process of making the fridge slide and slide out table, only decided to film when I was half way through.. the process however was much the same using pocket holes and glue with carpet over the top.
Very nicely done.
Thanks mate! Appreciate the comment 🙏 👍
That Ryobi saw that you used which one is it?
Love it. Very neat. Looks a well built pack there 👍
Thanks mate, very happy with how it turned out and very solid also! 👍
Please, link of amazon ?
Awesome build video
Gotta say, it was my first time watching a shelf being installed with kreg screws
dude the video content is good but i stopped watching because that music is tooo LOUD
Thanks for letting me know mate, had no idea it was that loud in the final edit.. I'll make sure i turn it down for the next videos! Thanks again.
@@theprojectbuild Thanks for the reply dude 😃
@@theprojectbuild Actually most people who watch these videos don't need ANY music in them at all. We are interested in content of video only. Nice informative video otherwise. Greetings from Jamaica.
can i use 150v solar panel in series with mppt controller on 12v battery?
Saludos desde Puerto Rico
Nice job 👍
It's easier to attach the cables to the Anderson plug first then feed the cables through the grommets. The negative cable always needs to be the same size as the positive cable. I hope this helps you. Keep up the good work and I liked and subscribe to your channel
Thanks James, I really appreciate it!

Very nice. But the only thing that's 100% is people getting proven wrong when they say something is 100%..
Nice bro
Don’t understand the measurements, are they in centimetres?
Sorry about that, the measurements are in millimetres. Thanks for watching!
