Commonly is the world’s first and largest video project devoted to recording China’s human stories for an international audience.
Our contributors, a network of ordinary people from around China, travel the length and breadth of the country recording the untold stories of everyday citizens. Through their videos, they encourage those they meet to share their hopes, fears, challenges and successes in their own words. Urban, rural, old, young; everyone has a story to tell.
